Job Description

1. In charge of the Customer Response Centre (CRC) to provide 24/7 POC and planning support for 3P airlines.

2. Monitoring, planning, implementing, supporting, and overseeing day to day third party customer airlines’ aircraft handling operation in Line Maintenance and the provision of aircraft maintenance and repair in accordance with the Singapore Airworthiness Requirements, the airline operator’s specific technical handling agreement and the company’s (SIAEC) requirements.

3. Act as the primary interface between LMD, Airline MCC and local station reps; to be responsible in providing prompt responses to airline MCC through all communication channels (Email/call/chat applications).

4. Provide coordination for AOG recovery with internal & external stakeholders as necessary, including preparation of work orders, one-off authorisation requests, pass application, AOG material handling, logistics, parts procurement, liaising with EC workshops.

5. Identify and address operational & material requirements with other functional departments as necessary to resolve issues.

6. Plan, oversee and coordinate ancillary works e.g., Engine change, A-Checks, Daily/Weekly checks; Serve as a focal point of contact for customer on aircraft status monitoring and work progression.

7. Build and maintain good relationships with airline station engineers / maintenance managers, and to be well-versed with individual airline handling requirements.

8. Handling customer service issues, including complaints or concerns about delays or non-compliance

Requirements

1. Degree in Engineering or similar field is preferred

2. At least 2 years working/professional in the aviation industry

3. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

4. Good communication and writing skills

5. Independently and make good judgment

6. Willing to do 12-hours Shift Work

The successful candidate will join the strategic sourcing department in SIA Engineering Division. He/she will support the repair management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and develop a network of competitive MRO suppliers to support the airline’s component repair needs
• Manage component repair orders, exchanges, and loans
• Track overall repair cycle, including shipping logistics, to achieve quick turnaround time (TAT)
• Liaise with MRO vendors on shop findings and repair workscope
• Identify component failure trends and develop corrective measures
• Pursue OEM warranty and product support commitments
• Evaluate and approve repair quotations
• Execute Power-By-Hour (PBH) and Fixed Price Package (FPP) contracts
• Monitor MRO suppliers’ performance, repair quality and shop processing time
• Optimize component inventory levels based on removal rate and repair TAT to avoid stock-out situations

Requirements

• Possess a University Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Prior work experience in airline technical inventory management, or supplier management in the aviation MRO industry is preferred
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiations skills
• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Job Description:

1. Be part of the SIAEC Line Maintenance team in providing motorised equipment across the company

2. Lead a team of maintenance staff and a team of Store personnel to achieve high availability and reliability of motorised equipment in a cost-effective manner

3. Oversee day-to-day operations in the maintenance of Airtugs and Motorised Ground Equipment, including the review of key performance indicators with the maintenance team and the recovery of equipment

4. Build a coherent equipment mix to meet operational demands and drive the purchase of suitable motorised equipment across the company

5. Ensure compliance to quality and safety in operations

6. Develop and maintain an inventory plan to ensure accountability and availability of spares, tools and consumables

7. Drive the adoption of Electric Vehicles and Autonomous Vehicles to support the company’s effort towards Sustainability

8. Drive LEAN methodologies in maintenance to improve productivity

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering (Aerospace / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering)

2. Demonstrated experience in aviation, production planning and project management would be an advantage

3. Experience in Equipment Tools Maintenance is an added advantage

4. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, operational and communication skills

5. Self motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
