As a Technician LS1, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations.

In this role, a typical day will include:

· To operate manufacturing equipment to produce and/or package contact lenses.

· To operate autoclave to sterilise contact lenses.

· Ensure contact lenses are manufacturing to the best quality level possible.

· Perform activities in compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices in a controlled and regulated environment.

· Perform all production activities at various stages under cleanroom environment and to work as a team with cross-functional team member to achieve production targets in compliance with cGMP, quality and safety requirements. · To maintain the quality standard of Contact Lens manufacturing

· To meet the yield, equipment performance and uptime of the LTs being assigned

· To perform IPC (in process check) such as Visual Lens Inspection and Operator Packaging check.

· To schedule contact lenses to be sterilised within 12 hrs.

· To perform simple machine setup eg Ink change

· To support maintenance activities and troubleshoot machine issues

· To maintain 5S in the production floor

· To participate in Kaizen project for continuous improvement in manufacturing performance

· Perform GxP cleaning and production end waste disposal.
