Responsibilities:

• Perform and ensure that assembly builds and test are completed as scheduled and according to required specifications, drawings and work instruction.

• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.

Requirements:

• Min NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Able to comprehend schematic/Technical drawing
• Experience in Orbital Welding and/or gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), is an advantage.
• Able to commit rotating shifts

Job Description

Report to Workshop Manager and Assistant Service Manager, responsible for performance of all automotive related repairs in achieving the Departmental sales turnover objectives with fast turnaround of customer vehicles and meet quality standard.

Job Scope

• Perform automotive service, repairs and OEM installation as per repair order instructions according to manufacturer's required procedures and quality standard.
• Diagnose and trouble fault on system components of the vehicle.
• Record all jobs done to the vehicle on repair done.
• Notify any addition fault or defect found in the repair process to Workshop Supervisor and obtain appropriate approval before proceeding with the repair .
• Ensure customer vehicles are cleaned after being repaired.
• Perform daily shop floor housekeeping.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum qualification : N level / NITEC in Motor Vehicle mechanics.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair for Diesel Engines.
• Valid Class 3 license added advantages.

Job Description:

• To ensure all equipments functioning satisfactorily and safely.
• To maintain repairs for all electrical systems.
• To inspect and maintain all air-conditioning/ventilation equipments.

Reporting to the Senior Technician, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance and preventive maintenance that are carried out on all equipments. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the equipments are in its top physical condition, performance and reliability are in accordance with established engineering procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all routine preventative maintenance as per schedules accordingly.
• Carry out repairs urgently and efficiently, in the event of damage or breakdown.
• Provide guidance to Junior Technician in repair and maintenance, when required.
• Have thorough knowledge of the manufacturers’ instructions and manuals to ensure equipment is repaired according to the correct methods.
• Report any abnormal or extraordinary incidents to the supervisors for his action and follow-up.
• Liaise with supervisors to order specific spare parts or equipment necessary to execute effective maintenance.
• Maintain work area in a clean and tidy condition.
• Check and collect supplies from the engineering stores according to hotel procedure.
• Ensure that all departmental reports and forms are completed accurately and punctually.
• Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
• Make appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
• Be fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and in compliance with the local Law.
• Be part of Company Emergency Response Team, when required.

Duties of Laboratory Technician:

• Assist in routine lab tasks such as paint preparation, panel setup, and airless spray applications.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis for paint products.
• Support chemists in development projects, including managing stock levels for panels, raw materials, and lab supplies.
• Participate in trial applications and inspections outside the lab under supervision.
• Handle non-chemical waste disposal and maintain a safe work environment by following ISO, safety, and environmental standards.
• Communicate progress or delays effectively with the line manager.
• Ensure workplace safety, especially in handling chemicals, and follow preventive measures to reduce risks.
