Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging and conveying equipment
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic system faults on equipment
• Attend to breakdown repair and recovery of operational equipment
• Reduce equipment downtime and enhance equipment performance through quality maintenance works
• Proper recording of works carried out on equipment
• Carry out and rectify facilities-related matters

• Possession of Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Equipment knowledge - Bagging/ packaging/ conveyor system
• General knowledge of AC drives and electrical motors, pneumatic cylinders and roller/chain conveyors
• Knowledge of PLC, control circuits and electrical system
• Min. 3 years' relevant experience in heavy industry sector
• Must be prepared to work on a 12-hour rotating shift
• Experience in Bagging line would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Internal rack wiring, installation of equipment, trunking, conduits etc
• Field Installation of cables, equipment, trunking, conduits etc
• Testing, commissioning, termination, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of cables, equipment etc
• Record time and materials used on daily work assignment
• Complete required paperwork including installation checklist, timesheets, service orders etc
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, test equipment etc
• Work at height and small confined spaces when required
• Able to work in vessels, oil rigs etc when required
• Able to work in customers' premises and travel overseas on job assignment when required
• Able to work overtime and after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required
• Able to perform Standby duty to attend to customers' sites during and after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required
• Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Understand and adhere to health & safety policies and ensure quality of workmanship is maintained at all times to the highest possible standards

Requirements:

• ITC/NTC/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• Experience in telephone & data cabling work, understand CCTV and network diagram
• Knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and termination
• Proficient in MS Office applications
