Job Description

- Service and maintain Lab equipment used for imaging services to minimize the machine downtime.

- Perform daily duties for lab operation such as sample management (receiving/inspection/processing/storage/return), image acquisition, quality verification, and data management.

- Oversee and manage general laboratory duties including roster, lab documents/logs/records, equipment calibration, and other laboratory materials/facilities.

- Samples management including receiving, inspection, storage, inventory and return. To be done in accordance with all safety and other requirements for integrity of samples.

- Purchasing, inventory management and replenishment of general consumables for laboratory use.

- Develop and maintain relevant documentation pertaining to laboratory including SOP/WI/polocies.

- Assist on other assigned tasks/activities as requested by Lab Manager.

Requirements:

- Education in engineering or relevant fields with at least 1 year of working experience in laboratory environment

- Good written/verbal communication skills, responsible, meticulous and self-motivated with minimum supervision

- Knowledge on GLP, GCP and laboratory information management systems will be plus points

- Proficiency with MS Office

WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

Background

Framo Singapore Pte Ltd was established in 1982 and is a subsidiary branch office of Framo AS which is a Norwegian based company and market leader in the manufacture of high-tech pumping systems for the chemical/product tanker market and oil & gas industry. Framo AS is a part of the Alfa Laval concern.

Framo Singapore Pte Ltd deals with the aftersales service, commissioning, repairs and inspections of these pumping systems as well as customer follow up and support.

Working place will be at our premises in Tuas.

Duties

General workshop duties as assigned by the Workshop supervisor which may include:

- Assist with mechanical equipment repairs, overhaul & maintenance.

- Assist with other ongoing projects/jobs as and when required depending on need.

- Maintenance of workshop equipment

- General housekeeping and 5S duties.

Qualifications

- Previous work within a workshop environment (at least 5-years preferred).

- Mechanical competence.

- Good command of English both verbally and written.

- Basic computer skills.

Requirements

- Work flexible hours on occasions.

- Can work both independently and as a team.

- National service (if applicable) to be completed.

- Physically fit.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Overhaul & repair of hydraulic & mechanical components and other machinery parts
• Steel repairs on Grabs, Windlasses & other Deck Machinery Parts

REQUIREMENTS:

• NTC 3 (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of working experience in the assemble, dismantle, service & repair of pumps and machinery parts
• Welding qualifications will be an added advantage
• Pro-active team player, with the right working attitude and willing to work overtime
