• Attend to changing of locksets and keys duplication.
• Estimate the length of time required to complete a job and the likely consequences of failure to complete work within the required timeline.
• Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
• Identify spare requirements and log usage.
• Assist in the development of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Carry out PPM Schedules as necessary, the plan works order as required, and provide feedback to develop the system.
• Assist with the moving, installation, and repositing of machines and equipment.
• Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environment and quality management procedures are followed and achieved the company and department KPI targets.

• NITEC in building services / M&E with relevant working experience in retail / commercial / hospitality properties.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up equipment in the Auditorium and man the auditorium AV and stage lighting systems for any bookings;
• Standby service for functions in the Auditorium, including after Working Hours or lunch times, if necessary;
• Provide a monthly health checklist of all AV equipment within auditorium and all meeting rooms with AV equipment;
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems in the facility building
• Carry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal functionality
• Troubleshoot and rectify any technical issues with the AV equipment within auditorium and all meeting rooms in MND offices and upgrade any outdated software or hardware.
• Ensure cleanliness in the meeting rooms/ auditorium/ theatre before and after each event
• Assist with logistic set up for all events, including monitoring caterers' set-up to ensure safety & cleanliness
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, installation configurations, and maintenance activities
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference
• Offer technical support during events, meetings, and presentations to ensure a smooth experience
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

• NITEC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Audio Visual related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with knowledge in managing the setup of AV systems
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
