• Perform risk assessment and underwrite Motor insurance with adherence to the underwriting authority and Company’s guidelines.
• Support Manager in gathering and analysing market data, identifying market trends or headwind.
• Work with Head of Department and Finance in the monthly, quarterly and annually budgeting and forecasting exercise.
• Provide strong support to our distribution channels and maintain positive relationships with all partners.
• Provide product training to our distribution channels.
• Support the department and ensure renewal reviews are conducted within service level agreements.
• Participate in department improvement projects when applicable.

Requirements:

• Degree with at least 2 years of underwriting Motor/A&H products.
• BCP, PGI, CommGI certified
• Working knowledge in SQL, Power BI and Tableau are additional advantage.

Our Client is a well established General Insurer with long standing history in the market. As a Accounts Officer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Handle Accounts Payables duties - process invoices and payments.
• Handle Accounts Receiveable duties - timely and accurate sales billing and monthly update of AR reports.
• Perform accurate data entry to computerized accounting system.
• Perform bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedule
• Prepare bank in cash, cheque, sales register

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy with at least 1 year of experience in processing partial set of accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Issuance of policy contracts and endorsements;
• Issuance of policy adjustment, member movement;
• To provide subject matter expertise (SME) support/advice/training relating to policy services knowledge to junior staffs and inter-department.
• To manage and prepare policy services control reports and ensure timely submission to Head of Department.
• To liaise with various colleagues/inter-departments (for eg. Customer Services, Finance, Claims, etc) to ensure timely delivery of policyholders’ requests.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing prior to deployment of changes in system.
• Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma with at least 1 year of administrative experience in the insurance space.
• Good to have BCP, PGI Certificate or is in progress of taking them.
