The Housekeeping Attendant (Rooms) is responsible for the immaculate upkeep and cleanliness of all the suites and work areas in their assigned sections.

Primary Responsibilities

REVENUE MANAGEMENT STRAGEGY SUPPORT

• Support the Hotel Management and Director of Revenue Management to define the hotel strategy (in terms of business mix and pricing by season and type of day) for the future periods

REVENUE MANAGEMENT PERFOMANCE

• Analyze in detail the hotels results and performance (average rates, occupancy rates, RevPAR..). Survey the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration…), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the Hotel GM.

REVENUE FORCASTING

• Ensure an accurate and dynamic forecast for the future dates(by room and revenue by segment and day) based on the RM referenced systems recommendations and a daily monitoring of the data (portfolio, booking pick-up,events, calendar events)

PRICING, PLANNING & DISTRIBUTION OPTIMISATION

• Take daily decisions to optimise the hotel turnover. Decisions in terms of pricing, inventory management (RMLs open/close), group quotation, distribution channels... Ensure that these recommendations are implemented in reservation and reception, and that systems (PMS, CRS/TARS, RMS) are updated accordingly. 

REVPRO CULTURE

• Ensure that a “RevPRO culture” is spread in the hotel, through the animation of weekly yield meetings and regular coaching and training sessions for the hotel teams 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Pricing and distribution loading across all systems and tools

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper in planning and organizing the housekeeping department, all public areas, guest rooms, laundry and linen.
• Ensure that all Housekeeping duties are carried out to the highest standard in order to provide guests with maximum efficiency of service and comfort.
• Monitor the Housekeeping ambassadors’ performance to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service.
• Supervise the ambassadors within the department, and ensure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Department's Operations Manual.
• Inspect guest rooms in all Housekeeping areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishing, facilities and equipment are clean and in good repair, well maintained and replaced or refurbished as required.
• Assist to plan and organize regular departmental training for all ambassadors, especially new ambassadors, paying particular attention to courtesy, efficiency, service standards, grooming, diplomacy and actual job knowledge.
• Prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitor ambassador attendance and conduct labour planning to meet with activity in the Hotel so as to maintain cost effectiveness.
• Assist to prepare various monthly reports and submit them to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Ensure that room cleaning productivity is monitored closely and maintained
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper in the daily checking of guest rooms and public/Heart of House areas to specified performance standards.
• Maintain an accurate and proper inventory of all stocks, guest supplies, linens etc to prevent pilferage or loss of any nature.
• Ensure that the incidents and procedures of “Lost and Found” properties are properly recorded and stored accordingly.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper in ensuring ambassador development through regular follow ups, taking on board both positive and constructive feedback.
• Doing performance reviews as part of KPI and follow through the actions required for team development.
• Accountable for the proper usage of all equipment and their periodical servicing to ensure efficient working conditions.

The Assistant Bar Manager shall assist in planning, organizing and giving direction of the lounge operation. He/she will provide administrative support, contribute to marketing and delivering each promotion of the outlet. • Shows care for assigned work areas by organising and maintaining the pantries and work areas in pristine condition throughout and at the end of shift. Ensures that all equipment used is clean and kept in good working condition at all times.
• Ability to organise own work flow to ensure completion of all assigned duties before the end of shift.
• Exercises flexibility and accepts changes with a positive attitude by showing understanding and consideration to the needs of the operations and department.
• Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
• Undertakes and performs any additional duties as assigned by Managers.
• Attends and contributes to colleague meeting and any other related activities.
