IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of the factory's IT infrastructure including servers, networks (LAN, WAN, VPN and Wireless), other hardware systems including PCs, and software systems.
System Administration: Manage and maintain enterprise systems, databases, and applications critical to manufacturing operations (ERP, MES & PLC), to ensure such systems are always available, secure and perform as needed. Coordinate software updates, patches and upgrades.
Cybersecurity: Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the factory's IT systems from threats and vulnerabilities. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
Data Management and Backup: Ensure data integrity, availability and security through effective data management practices, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and IT-related troubleshooting help to all employees and contractors. Ensure prompt resolution of IT problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to successful completion, within given timelines, budgets and resources.
IT Strategy, Planning & Execution: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, future needs and scalability requirements. Manage IT budget and vendor relationships through appropriate cost and contract management, respectively.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT systems and practices comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and data protection laws. Maintain documentation(including creation and maintenance of operation mannuals) and conduct audits to verify compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers and support staff. Provide training and mentorship to develop capabilities and innovation in IT and do performance evaluations.
