Main Purpose:
Ensure the seamless and efficient operation of IT functions across Apex Singapore and Hong Kong, with a specific emphasis on managing and optimizing Salesforce applications, general IT systems, and support services. This role involves overseeing the maintenance, security, and performance of IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure to enhance organizational productivity and enable informed decision-making through timely and accurate business report generation.
The Salesforce Administrator - IT Operations Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and end-users to address IT needs, implement technological advancements, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The goal is to drive a reliable, secure, and technologically advanced IT environment aligned with the organization's strategic goals, supporting business growth and success.
Roles and Responsibilities
Salesforce Administrator:
- Manage and enhance the existing Salesforce application, including troubleshooting and reviewing functionalities.
- Generate comprehensive business reports and develop new reports as required.
- Liaise with external Salesforce vendors for all related needs.
General IT:
- Oversee and maintain all IT systems, covering hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical assistance to retail outlets, addressing computer and software concerns, conducting troubleshooting, and swiftly resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address IT needs and specifications, ensuring seamless operations across all sites.
- Generate business reports using Salesforce and NOVA POS systems, presenting pertinent data and insights to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and suggest relevant solutions to enhance IT infrastructure and operations.
- Regularly perform system audits to detect potential problems and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements for optimized performance.
- Oversee data security and backup systems, ensuring the safeguarding of sensitive information.
- Support other departments in setting up and maintaining domains and websites.
- Provide training and assistance to end-users on IT systems, imparting essential guidance and knowledge for efficient technology utilization.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues, manage contracts/subscriptions, and maintain peak performance of IT systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, proposing and implementing best practices to elevate IT operations.
Requirements:
- Possession of at least a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in an IT Manager role or a comparable position, preferably within a multi-location retail setting.
- Proficient in computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with NOVA POS systems is advantageous.
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting aptitude, efficiently handling technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented setting, adeptly managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is highly desirable.
- Proficient in English speaking and writing.
