CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT
Conceptualise curriculum projects that cater to low income children that meet their learning needs;
Prototype new approaches in teaching and learning with existing teachers. The approaches would need to be anchored on evidence-informed practices;
Lead professional development through designing resources in collaboration with other team members to meet the needs of our teachers. This includes working with partners beyond CDAC to drive an innovative culture of learning and team spirit;
Institute strong teaching and learning processes to design learning experiences and the creation of an environment conducive to the development of student confidence, holistic growth, and mastery of learning.
TUTORING
Assist in covering tutor duties when required.
Tutor and coach students who need academic support in one or more subjects (English, Science, Math or Chinese language) for Primary and Secondary levels for CDAC Tuition Programme students.
Requirements
Deep experience in implementing curriculum projects using evidence-informed practices;
Good content knowledge of the subject(s) taught and familiarity with the latest MOE syllabuses and assessment modes;
Skilfulness in leading teams, working with others and co-creating projects that lead to better teaching and learning for low income students;
Strong sense of student-centredness and ability to appreciate the need to customise programmes to meet the needs of low income students;
Good communications skills;
Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and able to build a culture of learning with teachers, and partners beyond CDAC.
Required to work in the evening/weekends, if covering tutor duties;
Moderate traveling is required (CDAC Centres/schools) for work
