Responsibilities

• Proactively building trusted client relationships – maintain a portfolio of active and growing customers
• Market and sell broad range of products including trade service, cash management, treasury and investment
• Prepare credit proposal and loan application of customers; prepare annual review on timely basis
• Conduct regular and timely customer due diligence (CDD) reviews
• To achieve agreed individual financial and non-financial targets by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable Commercial Banking customers within acceptable risk parameters.
• Contribute toward achieving team’s overall target and delivering optimal portfolio return.

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience in serving business/commercial/corporate clients and track record in new to bank client acquisition.
• Sound product knowledge on Trade, CashManagement, Lending and FX and strong understanding of local industries, supply/value chains and market environment
• Knowledge of operational procedures,documentation requirements, banking practices and regulations related to commercial banking

• To help in liaising with tax agent on corporate tax, ACAP review and transfer pricing document review.
• To monitor and report to HOD for changes/updates in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards including updating of procedure manual. Relevant laws such as Banking Act, Income Tax Act, Goods & Services Tax Act, Company Act etc.
• To support in the implementation of new or changes to the above.
• To support daily accounts operations duties such as journal input, system operation and other daily routine duties.
• To support any work-related duties assigned by HOD from time to time.
• Any other ad-hoc assignment as required

Requirements :

• Good communication skill and preferably proficient in Japanese language (JLPT N1, N2, N3) to work closely with stakeholders in Japan Head Office (Tokyo) will be added advantage.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
