Periodic Review Analyst is responsible for ensuring KYC (know your client) reviews are in line with regulatory standards.

Work includes:

• Reviewing existing clients along the following lines:

- Name screening

- Source of wealth (SoW) review

- Review of corporate structures and performance of beneficial ownership drilldown

- Assessment of money laundering, fraud, reputational risk and sanctions risk factors

• Working in partnership with other stakeholders e.g. Front Office and Anti Money Laundering colleagues to ensure files are completed in a timely manner with high quality.

To lead, manage and provide effective guidance to team member and Front Office in their work processes and submissions, in terms of new client account on-boarding. The role requires the candidate to be able to face off Front Office relating to client documentation and/or KYC related matters. Candidate should ensure that the team meets the expectation of the bank policy for BAU and ensure that the targeted timeline is met. In addition, he/she will be required to liaise with the local AML officers concerning business-view on specific AML/KYC related topics.

In his/her function as a Documentation/KYC Expert, the candidate should be able to handle the daily BAU responsibilities on top of monitoring team performance and reporting on metrics. It involves close collaboration with AML, Compliance, ORM, Front Office and Legal.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

Qualifications:

• Review draft loan documentation
• Review clauses relevant to facility agent and security agent roles for both new and existing transactions and to ensure compliance with internal guidelines

This role will mainly undertake the KYC onboarding and periodic review functions as well as manage the onboarding aspects and account opening for new and existing customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct onboarding of corporate clients in accordance with KYC and due diligence requirements
• Conduct annual KYC reviews/ trigger reviews within stipulated timeframe and with minimal reworks
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare exceptional handling memos where required
