Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for crafting profitable and effective solutions that are meticulously detailed, easily executable, and align with both the customer's functional and business needs as well as SAV's standards and best practices.
- Carefully select equipment that not only meets but exceeds the customer's requirements in terms of quality while also maintaining competitive costs compared to industry peers.
- Design winning systems that precisely meet the customer's business objectives.
- Provide guidance to sales representatives on structuring product descriptions, technical specifications, and operational requirements within proposal or bid documents.
- Review designs post-contract award to enhance profitability and uphold desired quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and trends within the audiovisual industry.
- Offer insights to the Project Lead regarding the ergonomic placement of equipment.
- Create detailed and accurate designs, ensuring proper labeling of equipment, wiring, and diagrams.
- Ensure accurate definition and labeling of all cables, patch panels, and receptacles in schematics.
- Document all equipment meticulously in schematic drawings and Bill of Material (BOM) for efficient order management.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Department to review and promptly update designs, including Graphical User Interface (GUI), to accommodate any changes in operational requirements.
- Advise Project Managers on equipment placement and integration with other stakeholders.
- Assist the Project Lead in identifying potential installation and operational challenges arising from site constraints that may impact project commissioning.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure proper project documentation and effective communication of functional requirements during internal project handovers or when changes occur.
- Approve schematic drawings for procurement and construction purposes.
- Conduct thorough site inspections during both onsite and offsite implementation phases.
- Review schematic drawings to ensure effective implementation of the design.
- Inspect systems to verify that user functional requirements are met.
- Inspect equipment for each vertical solution to ensure optimal performance through proper configuration.
- Identify variations in operational requirements and delivery quality, providing a punch list for the Project Lead to address.
Job Requirements:
- Possess an ITE/Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual.
- Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an Engineering role within the audiovisual industry.
- Proficient in AV control system programming (Crestron/AMX) or Prosound.
