1. Monitor and review of outstanding invoices with prompt resolution of queries.
2. Reconciliation of supplier statements and handling communications with suppliers.
3. Manage company vehicle matters, including but not limited to taxes, registrations and fines.
4. Processing transactions and updating ledgers and budgets.
5. Prepare and submit monthly bank reconciliation statement.
6. Assist in audit requirements and confirmation requests.
7. Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts.
8. Ensure cashflow is utilized properly and protect reserves.
9. Summarizes the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets profit and loss. statements and other reports.
10. Any other duties assigned by superior.

• Liaising and attending to clients.

• Prepare accounting schedules for audit and financial statements preparation.

• Liaise with auditors in preparation of clients' financial accounts;

• Assist in managing clients' accounting deadlines;

• Ensure accounting deadlines are met;

• Assist with GST preparation;

• Attending to finance function at client's office;

• Handling courier, postage and banking duties;

• Procurement of office supplies;

• Digitization of documents and correspondences;

• In charge of office maintenance;

• Maintain and update client database

Participate in full set, project costing and monitor project budgets inclusive of audit schedule

Provide guidance in areas relating to costing and inventory valuations and interact closely with operations

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts

Coordinate with the Controller and Director to prepare the annual budget and forecasts to ensure cost control and predetermined levels of profit and to enforce the budgets

Assist in fixed assets reconciliations, eg. corporate assets for capitalisation, fixed asset tagging exercise

Perform audits on a regular basis to verify transactions

Track all company assets and liabilities

Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and regulatory requirements

Manage cash flow and forecasting

Good knowledge of Tax standards and GST rules

Review and consolidate Corporate Card charges for approval

Support project revenue and cost tracking, gross margin monitoring, ad-hoc project analysis

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or CPA/ACCA equivalent

Well versed with Tax standards and GST rules

With minimum 3-5 years of project accounting function with MNC firms in China/US market

Job Description:

• Handles full set of accounts, including monthly bank reconciliation & journal entries.
• Review monthly management accounts, perform financial analysis against budget and forecast on monthly basis and explanation of variance and trend.
• Oversee statutory filings including financial statements and tax
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register.
• Reviewing Staff’s AP entries and staff claims
• Financial planning & Analysis for Sales, Cost and Inventory
• Liaising with the merchandising department for month-end inventory costing
• Oversee and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities as and when required
• Liaise with external parties for compliance and grant applications and claims
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the finance team and across departments
• Participate in process improvement projects
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the Head of Department from time to time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role
• Professional work ethic, leadership qualities and strong personal integrity.
• Knowledgeable in accounting software is advantageous
• Knowledgeable in Autocount system would be a distinct advantage
• Prior experience in the E-Commerce industry is advantageous
• Meticulous attention to detail and a cautious to financial management
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm

Roles and responsibilities:

• Review and verify daily operational accounting entries, including sales, purchases, payment requests, and settlement of receivables/payables
• Participate in monthly financial closing and quarterly group reporting
• Prepare company financial statements for audit and statutory reporting purposes
• Ensure adherence to internal control processes
• Act as the key liaison for audit, tax, and corporate secretarial matters
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's tax requirements, including corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing, and BEPS regulations
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Chartered Accountant/ACCA qualified
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and tax
• Strong knowledge of Singapore FRS and tax reporting requirements, including corporate income tax, GST, and withholding tax
• Experience in transfer pricing and international taxation is advantageous
• Ability to analyze financial figures and troubleshoot issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc
• Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
