Infrastructure Engineer
The M365 Messaging Engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365 within the Client’s organization. He/She works with a team of engineers on the operation of the M365 systems, responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of M365 systems ensuring operational high availability.
Mandatory skillset: Possess strong technical experience (i.e., hands-on in M365 configuration and implementation).
• Work with the Team Lead and the group of M365 engineers to design and deploy new Microsoft 365 solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Co-pilot among others to improve ways of working in the organization.
• Perform daily health checks of M365 using various type of devices such as BYOD, PED devices.
• Provide technical user support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk and resolve system/application issues.
• Provide technical answers & advice to technical queries escalated from the helpdesk or users.
• Work within the M365 team to learn, discover and equip with the latest M365 service offerings & product knowledge.
• Explore ways to adopt or adapt Microsoft’s new M365 offerings, such as the Power Platform, based on Client’s business requirements.
• Keen to explore M365 services/offerings by setting up and test the new services in the Client’s test M365 Tenant environment.
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting of the main Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams Online Messaging Infrastructures
• Support Directory synchronization support between on-premise AD and Microsoft Entra
• Provide Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Mobile Application Management (MAM) Support
• Act on M365 service outages by keeping the Client informed and ensuring optimal SLA results.
• Work with other technical teams including Client’s network & Firewall team, as necessary, to ensure a secure, optimal connectivities to M365 Cloud
• Creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration
• Up to date knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Ability to configure Microsoft 365 to manage processes and configurations to Client’s requirements.
• Able to present M365 complex technical information clearly to a non-technical audience, with the ability to provide the appropriate level of detail.
• Able to work in a team.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English)
