Asset Management Executive
Working Location: UB Point, Macpherson
Working Hours: 9am -6pm
Salary Range: up to $4500 + 100 Transport Allowance

Job Description

• Responsible for sourcing required direct and indirect materials, dealing with vendors and negotiating for the best price and payment term from both local and overseas vendors.
• Collaborate and maintain good working relationship with both internal/external stakeholders and vendors for planning and initiation of necessary procurements.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors for timely delivery and monitor all purchases to avoid any shortages, overcharges and defects of materials.
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with internal/external stakeholders, vendors and identify process bottleneck, propose and implement solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Assist to implement internal procurement strategies to cater for daily Operations & Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
• Prepare, develop and review department contracts for both new and existing supplier, and constantly monitoring the validity & expiry of each contract.
• Prepare and develop various documentations (e.g. Tender, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)s, Work Instruction (WI), Reports, etc.) and monitor the validity & expiry of each documentation.
• Assist as the System Administrator for section’s Maintenance Management System (MMS).
• Constant monitoring and tracking of Asset Life Cycle for planning of asset renewal and/or disposal.
• Support Budgetary Planning and Costings.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant working experience in an O&M industry involving Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistic or Warehousing.
• Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems (e.g. ServiceNow, SAP, Maximo, Oracle) will be an advantage.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests
• Communicate to appropriate staff when guests are waiting for an available room
• File guest paperwork or documentation. Operate telephone switchboard station
• Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports
• Responsible for managing group arrivals and departures
• Act as the main point of control for saleable rooms in conjunction with Revenue, Sales and Front Desk teams
• To be familiar with all room types, availability, rates, group movements and billing, daily events, promotions, VIP’s and Guest History guests
• To ensure that the Duty Manager is informed immediately of any emergency, security or health and safety matter
• To be able to manage back office (Front Office) administrative tasks such as inventory control to ensure inventory are managed and ordered when required
• Other administrative tasks such as rostering to be submitted in a timely manner for approval

• Prepare the voyage-based allocation for areas and control/optimize the utilization to ensure profitability of the services
• Actively steer and optimize the utilization as well as the profitability
• Actively manage the slot control activities including slot purchase
• Manage the communication and coordination with partners on operational processes
• Decision-making for ad hoc schedule adjustments / optimizations in collaboration with Sales and Operation team
• Support in the preparation of the monthly and weekly volume and revenue reports
• Participation in trade-and service optimization

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
