Responsibilities and Tasks

• Provide engineering study is to include good design practice for state-of-the-art system designs, system capacity and capability analysis, planning for future requirements, as well as code compliance.
• Maintain engineering data bases in support of capacity tracking, capital equipment facilitation, and cash flow project management for assigned systems/areas.

• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in construction industry.
• Possess Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, Risk Management and First Aid certified.

Job Description

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a construction site, ensuring that installation work and other site activities are carried out according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards. This role involves managing site personnel, coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, and actively participating in daily toolbox meetings to ensure site safety and project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist site manager/project manager in supervising daily activities on the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and according to project plans and schedules.
• Ensure that all installation work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors involved in the installation process.
• Verify that materials and equipment are installed correctly and meet quality and safety requirements.
• Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Coordinate and schedule activities to align with project timelines and milestones.
• Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on the project schedule.

Job Responsibility

• Ensure compliance with government health, safety and environmental regulations. Enforce all safety requirements and in-house safety rules.
• Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies.
• Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800 management standards.
• On-sites monitoring and conducting regular safety inspections on construction work site.
• Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.

Requirements

• Registered WSHO and ECO with minimum 3 years of working experience in a construction firm.
• Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure.
• Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ConSASS and GGBS.
• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
