JOB SUMMARY:

The main responsibilities for the Retail Supervisor are to coach, train and manage the retail store assigned according to the Lagardere Travel Retail standard and to create a positive shopping experience by coaching Retail Teams in identifying customers’ needs, advise and sell them products through exemplary customer service.

3. CASH MANAGEMENT

• Ensure team members complete each customer transaction in a professional, timely manner and with the highest level of respect.
• Ensure accuracy in the collection of money in various modes of payment.
• Ensure sufficient supply of float and that safe counts are done daily.
• Conduct random POS checks during shifts and identify and investigate variances, if any.
• Ensure daily submission of bank-in slips to finance department.

3. MERCHANDISING & STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Maintain high standards of overall store presentation and ensure that follow up actions are taken where necessary and in a timely manner.
• Maintain high merchandising standards as per VM/Brand guidelines.
• Ensure all POS/VM materials and other collaterals being displayed at the shop floor are up-to date and displayed according to our VM standards.
• To assist Retail Managers in the execution of stock counts, leading team members when stock counts are being conducted.
• To investigate any stock variances.

4. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Provide coaching and guidance to team members on products, systems and operational matters.
• Ensure team members receive clear communication with regards to sales targets, KPIs and all relevant promotional/marketing activities.

• To provide constructive feedback or raise any callouts with regards to staff performance to Retail Manager.

5. LOSS PREVENTION

• To be attentive to all customers and pay special attention to any suspicious customer behaviour.
• Carry out shop surveillance as required.
• Keep high priced items in well supervised areas and assist Retail Manager to ensure stock counts are conducted accurately.
• Report loss prevention issues to Retail Manager and ensure that an incident report form is completed when required.

6. OTHERS

• Support any store initiatives. Example: Stock take, store change etc.
• Support Management in Events management as assigned.
• Responsible for retail commission worksheet for retail manager’s approval.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted within the deadline set.

• Supervise the contractors’ works to ensure that work is carried out in compliance with the design intent, specifications and quality of works required under the terms of the contract.
• Maintain a Site Diary of events and daily surveillance.
• Attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants’ meetings.
• Keep a close check of the contractors’ installation details of items which require specific compliance with CP/manufacturers’ installation instructions.
• Ensure timely submissions, review and approval of shop drawings, technical submittals, and samples by contractors.
• Prepare and update the list of outstanding/non-compliance works and submit it to the project manager for discussion at site/progress meetings.
• Monitor and report the progress of works against schedule and prepare monthly updates of site progress.
• Resolve site coordination issues with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct site inspections and T&C schedules with stakeholders.
• Compile and track Defects Lists with the consultants and/or contractors.
• Lead and attend inspection and testing & commission requested by FM and other stakeholders.
• Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by the Reporting Officer.

Electrical Supervisor

Requirement

• Attend production meeting.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety and quality in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Coordinates and prioritizes work done.
• Maintains paperwork as necessary for the operation (may include time sheets, purchase orders, work orders, etc.).
• Conform to an established work schedule.
• Facilitate & conduct meetings, training and risk assessments.
• Plan and conduct safety inspections, accident and incident investigations.
• Ensure quality of work is achieved and safety regulations are complied.
• Conduct risk assessment to identify hazardous activities at the workplace for mitigation, with compliance to MOM’s WSH requirements.
