Job Description:

A. Network and System Maintenance

• Oversee the daily operations of IT infrastructure, ensuring stability and accessibility of networks, servers, and hardware.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of software systems, ensuring compatibility and up-to-date versions across all user platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and provide smooth operations for academic and administrative needs.

B. IT Support and Helpdesk

• Provide timely IT support to staff and students.
• Educate users on IT processes and usage of essential software tools, as needed.

C. Data Backup and Recovery

• Manage and monitor regular data backup schedules to safeguard critical institutional data.
• Maintain data storage solutions, with backups stored securely via the institution's IT platforms.

D. Cybersecurity and Compliance

• Manage cybersecurity protocols, including firewalls, antivirus protection, and user access controls.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and institutional data security policies, safeguarding sensitive information.
• Regularly review and update security practices to address evolving cyber threats.

E. Vendor and Asset Management

• Manage relationships with external vendors for IT hardware, software, and support services, coordinating purchases and service agreements.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, tracking hardware, software licenses, and warranties to manage lifecycle replacements effectively.

F. Policy Development and Documentation

• Manage and enforce IT policies, particularly in areas of data backup, access management, and usage standards.
• Maintain documentation ranging from backup and recovery protocols, network configurations, and IT processes.

G. Strategic IT Initiatives

• Support the development and execution of strategic IT initiatives.
• Provide IT insights and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement key projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Management team to support the institution's strategic mission and goals.
• Provide support for other assignments as directed by the Vice President and President.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 8 years of progressive IT management and support experience, with 3 years of leadership role within an international private education setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience ranging from data backup systems, IT infrastructure maintenance, user support, and cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of Singapore’s data protection requirements and best practices in IT compliance.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to be operationally hands-on, proactive mindset, and committed to delivering results within stipulated timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for civil construction projects that align with the overall project and company objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capabilities, and reputation. Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring the best value and terms for the company while minimizing risk. Oversee contract management to ensure compliance and resolve disputes if necessary.
• Work closely with the finance and project management teams to manage procurement budgets, track expenditures, and optimize cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure that all materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects are sourced and delivered according to project specifications and timelines. This may include heavy equipment, raw materials (concrete, steel, etc.), and specialized services.
• Oversee the logistics of transporting materials to project sites, ensuring minimal delays and managing any potential supply chain disruptions.
• Identify potential risks related to procurement (e.g., supply shortages, price volatility) and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with local, regional, and national regulations, including environmental and safety standards. Adhere to company policies, ethics, and best practices in procurement.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, ensuring their professional development and that they operate efficiently. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align procurement with project needs.
• Regularly assess the performance of suppliers and vendors, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards. Develop and maintain a qualified vendor database.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and vendor communications. Provide regular reports to management on procurement progress, savings, and potential risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the civil construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Familiarity with civil construction materials, equipment, and services is essential. Experience in sourcing for large-scale projects such as marine structures or other infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in procurement management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar software). Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships and internal stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting as it relates to procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess supplier performance and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of local, state, and national regulations regarding procurement and supply chain management in construction, including sustainability and environmental standards.

Work experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, Colorist or similar role.

Hands-on experience in Scissors cutting. (Experience in using Clippers).

Experience in different type of hair cuts and Advanced fade cuts.

Proficiency in different types of Beard Designing.

Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers.

Experience in handling differnt skin and advising clients with suitable facials and skin care, hair care products.

Hands-on experience with various coloring techniques.

Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids and top knots).

Welcoming customers and identifying their preferences by asking pointed questions.

Recommending hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ face shapes and tastes.

Washing, rinsing and drying clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalps).

Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment.

Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage.

Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns.

Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks).

Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences.

Manage bookings and serve walk-ins.

Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed.

Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate.

Up-to-date with industry trends.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical stamina to stand for long hours.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Verification and assessment of submission designs.
• Management of engineering works and contractors.
• In charge of safety, quality and environmental matters.
• Carryout investigation of faults and failures.
• Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub- contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met
• Making plans using detailed drawings

• Finishing projects on time and within budget
• Manage few teams of supervisor and coordinators for daily work activities.
• Prepare site record and submit to office in a timely manner.

Requirement:

• Preferably with class 3 driving license
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• At least Degree holder Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
• Willing to work at Tuas, 6 days work
