The incumbent leads and oversees the Student Career Services Section of NTU Career & Attachment Office (CAO), which contributes to equipping 33,000 NTU students to be career-ready and industry-ready, as well as facilitating collaborations with industries to increase their employability.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Central Administration

6) Oversees and guide respective teams in achieving annual targets of all the 7 functions under Student Career Services with high student satisfaction rate, with the objective to create positive impacts on all NTU undergraduate and postgraduate students:

a) Career Coaching & Career Business Partnering

• Provide individual and group career coaching at CAO and School levels, utilizing career assessment tools, and leveraging on the latest technologies.
• Spearhead the Career Business Partnering to foster a closer partnership with Schools.

b) Career & Employability Skills Training

• Review and ensure the quality delivery of career & employability skills workshops to address the latest trends of industries and students’ needs.
• Introduce new skills development programmes in collaboration with NTU’s stakeholders (e.g. industry partners, alumni, industry mentors, etc.) to equip NTU students with highly sought after industry skills.

c) Career Resources & Communications

• Curate and prepare useful career resources and insights from graduate employment data in both print and digital version, as well as regular CAO e-newsletter.

d) Mass Recruitment & Outreach

• Engage employers to recruit NTU students effectively and efficiently via large-scale mass recruitment platforms both physically and virtually.
• Launch marketing campaigns via physical events and social media platforms at University and School levels to raise the career awareness of NTU students in promoting early career planning and preparation.

e) Data Analytics & Technology

• Conduct regular job poll and provide data analytics on graduate employment related statistics to provide better insights for better decision at Student Career Services Team, CAO, Schools and University level.

• A recognised degree with at least 15 years of experience in career services, career coaching, development of educational programme for tertiary education students, training, learning & development (those with direct student career services experience in Institute of Higher Learning would be advantageous).

The Role

South East Asia Residential Cross Border Development Director

To act as a point contact between UK and Savills teams across South East Asia focusing on real estate transactions into the UK. To drive growth across the region acting as the key contact for the Savills UK business in Singapore.

Key Activities

Residential Development Sales

· Work across the SEA business teams to drive growth and align activity across the region.

· Oversee and implement regional strategy for growth and marketing.

· Fully understand TLC’s terms of business

· Estimate profit levels on all projects

· Ensure payment arrangements are agreed before work commences and that they are enforced

· On occasion, work with the client service and finance teams on cash collection on client

Skills & Knowledge

· Has proven sales experience; knows how to add value to the business by achieving sales

· Fluent Thai-speaking to cover the Thailand market

· Understands marketing processes and jargon and is able to take a consultative view with clients

· Experienced in communicating with clients in all forms of written and verbal communication and is able to listen

· Practiced in building effective working relationships with clients and work colleagues and uses these to add value to TLC and our clients and has a portfolio of client contacts

· Takes a commercial view when decision making in order to maximise the value to both TLC and the client
