• Lead teams to deliver funding outcomes for the Community Silver Trust (CST) and Tote Board Community Health Fund (TBCHF).
• Oversee the smooth running of the day-to-day business operations and administration of the grants to meet programme-level KPIs and audits - cover publicity of grants, review proposals, support service providers on the application of grants, assess proposals, seek approval of the proposals, issue award letter to grantees, monitor progress of funded projects, support grantees in project implementation by sharing practices and linking up with resources, process claim reimbursement, support project variation request, document learnings, support audits of the funds etc.
• Drive the framing and structuring of outcomes and impact reporting and oversees the analyses, preparation and vetting of reports for funders and management.
• Partner service providers and stakeholders to co-develop solutions aligned to the sector’s needs.
• Engage funders upstream to cultivate more sustained funding pathways for impactful projects, support new areas of needs and calibrate funding approach to better support grantees as needs evolve.
• Establish the culture, system and practice of conducting regular review of internal process to ensure its efficiency, and effectiveness and to minimise risk to AIC.
• Conduct/co-conduct with Team Leads regular grant writing and project management workshops for service providers to build capabilities upstream and minimise downstream project governance issues with grantees.
• Set targets and coach teams to streamline and automate processes (application, assessment, progress reporting, prioritisation of projects for active intervention, and claim reimbursement) to reduce process waste and errors.
• Drive digitalisation efforts for grant administration to improve governance and productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in grants management and administration or industry development.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
• Preferably in community care, social service or healthcare sector.

• Oversee the operations of the Healthy Ageing Department together with other senior team members
• Identify and analyse key trends and developments, data and collaborations required to meet the department’s vision
• Plan and implement evidence/interest-based initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of seniors (emphasis: frail seniors who use Community Care services or who are living at home). These include meaningful recreational activities such as the arts (visual arts, creative movement), physical leisure (gardening, taichi), music, inter-generational projects, etc
• Research, plan and implement evidence and interest-informed initiatives in collaboration with partners and the Community Care sector
• Develop and execute strategies to support Community Care service providers (e.g. Active Ageing Centres) in providing meaningful and evidence and interest-informed activities for their clients.
• Analyse information, data and ground insights to identify trends, needs and gaps, and formulate strategies to support activity provision by Community Care partners and service providers.
• Project manage and evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of the initiatives
• Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and partnerships

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline with at least 8-10 years of programme management / at least 10 years of relevant experience and 3 years in a managerial capacity
• Strong in programme management and evaluation experience, preferably in healthcare, eldercare and/or social services
• Self-motivated, resourceful with good problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative
• Able to manage multiple projects with excellent project management skills and to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator (verbal, in writing) with good interpersonal skills and an interest to enhance care for seniors
• Responsible, independent and a good team player
