Traveloka is seeking an experienced indirect tax professional to join our Tax team as a Senior Manager. Reporting to the VP of Tax, this role will be responsible for working with other Tax team members in driving our business partnering capabilities to proactively support Traveloka’s business expansion efforts, ensuring seamless alignment of tax strategies with overarching business objectives.

The Senior Manager will serve as strategic advisor to business teams, collaborating closely with business teams to understand their business goals, operations, and challenges on a proactive basis. This role will team with cross functional business and stakeholder teams for development and implementation of key strategic tax advice, and facilitate effective communication on tax requirements to all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should be a motivated self-starter with good business acumen and be able to communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are relevant and meaningful to non-tax professionals. The candidate should have proven experience in international indirect taxes, and have strong collaboration skills to work in partnership with other tax and transfer pricing team members, as well as external tax advisors, to deliver holistic and practical tax solutions. Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or relevant related discipline
• 10+ years of tax experience working in large multinational corporations and either legal or public accounting firms
• Experience in international indirect taxes is a must, with ability to navigate direct tax and transfer pricing issues in partnership with support from internal and external advisors
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex tax issues effectively to non-tax audiences
