BRAND/MARKETING MANAGER

Main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Brand/Marketing Manager is responsible for a group of brands.

He or she makes the link between the international brand principals and the local brand team based in Bangladesh.

Duties and responsibilities

Brand management .

· Build and execute the yearly brand marketing plans

· Design presentations and marketing reports to share with the brands

· Prepare pitch book for new potential brands (marketing section of the business plan)

Operational marketing

· Build and implement the 360 launch plans for new brands/product launches

· Oversee the execution of all the marketing activities (ABT and BTL) and ensure the local team has the necessary brand assets to execute on time, with high standards and in line with the guidelines

· Coordinate and follow up the training activities with the training team

· Analyse the performance of the marketing activities and define appropriate KPI

Marketing research

· Conduct some ad-hoc marketing analysis

· Search for market information and data in Bangladesh

· Analyse consumers trends and expectations according to different categories and

needs (beauty/F&B/toys, sport, home...) and identify some gasps for new brand opportunity

Corporate Training and marketing

· Bring some support to the training team to design some modules for the corporate training program

· Participate in writing some content for the revamping of the BestinBrands website

Requirements

· Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing or business

· At least 3 years of experience in brand management

· Previous experience in the beauty/luxury/FMCG industries is an advantage

• A team player with a positive attitude

· Highly organized with strong ability to multi-task

• Problem solving, efficient time management skills and able to work independently
• Creative, meticulous with an eye for details and aesthetics

· Able to work in a multi-cultural environment

· Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Outlet Manager

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

• Manage and coordinate daily Front of the House and Heart of the House operations with right delegation
• Monitor the reservation status and communicate with culinary team
• Plan and control manning to meet business needs and according to budget
• Check the appearance, orderliness, cleanliness and set-up of the outlet and its related areas, and be ready before 10 minutes of the commence of each meal period
• Control outsource labour supply, casual labour and overtime
• Communicate with team during daily briefings and conduct monthly department meetings
• Ensure and conduct regular training and re-training when needed
• Maintain service, standards and procedures for the outlet and to ensure that they are achieved and followed by
• Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance in the outlet and related areas
• Lead the F&B team to personalize the guest dining experience and ensure the compliance of LQA standards and delivery of Service Promise
• Lead a Heartist® approach to guest experience/service with the F&B team
• Provide immediate attention to guest complaints and provide appropriate service recovery. To follow up and to establish correct procedures to prevent future recurrence
• Work closely with the culinary team to maintain food quality and to create attractive food products that support the image of the outlet/hotel and incremental business volume
• Regular review of guest comments/VOG with the team and implement right solutions for continuous improvement
• Focus on the dining experience for LCAH members
• Implement, monitor, train and maintain control measures to impact food costs, beverage costs, labour costs and operating supply costs for the outlet and to be in line of budget
• Plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programmes constantly in the areas of menu engineering, profit contribution, revenue generation, productivity, pricing and costing for products used in the outlet
• Interpret financial reports: create and implement plans or promotion to improve profits for the outlet
• Compile financial data and use the data to coach the service team how to use suggestive selling to improve the overall financial performance
• Provide necessary training and guidance to F&B team and to ensure that the highest possible standards and quality of products and services offering in the premise
• Recruit, develop and retain F&B team who are competent and confident to exceed guest expectations and create successful business
• Support the F&B team to be consistent in service, use a collaborative, enabling leadership style, have regular team meeting
• Drive consistent service and process improvement, be entrepreneurial
• Use the performance review process to identify and develop talent for growth management performance issues, using a coaching styles
• Interface the needs/requirements of other departments with the F&B Service : Laundry, Property Maintenance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Front Office, Security, Finance, T&C and Culinary
• Provide a level of Safety & Security for all colleagues
• Develop own knowledge and skills to grow as a business partner and leader.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years in F&B restaurant management position
• Experience in similar size/style of 5* hotel

The Revenue Manager leads the revenue strategy for the Worldwide Hotels portfolio, leveraging advanced data analysis, market intelligence, and strategic planning. This role drives revenue growth by optimizing pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies across all channels.

KEY KPI’s

• KPI 1: Lead the identification and resolution of revenue challenges affecting the RevPAR Index for the Worldwide Hotel portfolio, ensuring strategies are promptly adjusted.
• KPI 2: Provides reports and market intelligence through close monitoring of competitors performance, strategies and pricing structures to Revenue Leadership to assist in creating detailed forecasts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• KPI 3: Analyse and optimise distribution channel performance to maximize revenue opportunities, ensuring full optimisation for Direct channels, GDS, OTAs, and other key channels.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Analysis & Data Management

• Maximize revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems including but not limit to Opera Cloud, Channel Manager, Revenue Management System
• Lead the WWH Revenue team in preparing necessary documents, reports, and presentation for departmental, weekly revenue meeting, monthly reporting and quarterly review.
• Ensure that all necessary reports are maintained and systematically analysed, including but not limited to: STR, Market Segment Analysis, Source Contribution, Internet Production, Pickup and Pace by Segment, Ancillary Fees Contribution and Room Type Statistics.
• Compiles information, analyses and monitors actual sales against projected sales. Extracts and analyses data to draw viable/actionable business conclusions.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations, providing actionable recommendations that align with the overall revenue strategy.
• Drive revenue initiatives across the organization, mentor junior associate, and lead cross-functional teams to execute revenue strategies.
• Challenge existing processes and systems, seeking innovative solutions to drive revenue, enhance value, and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage escalations for technical issues related to reservations, revenue management systems, and property management systems, coordinating with support teams for resolution.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field from a recognized institution with 4-5 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue management systems and distribution tools such as Opera Cloud, RMS, and advanced BI tools. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, data analysis, and problem-solving. Ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, communicate effectively, and drive results across departments. High levels of flexibility and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing revenue-generating opportunities.
