JOB DESCRIPTION
Crossinvest (Asia), an Independent Asset & Wealth Management company, is seeking to a hire a full-time multi-asset class Portfolio Analyst (Discretionary Portfolio Management) to join our Investment Team and support our Senior Portfolio Managers for our Singapore office. We are a dynamic and growing IAM with nearly 40 years of Swiss heritage.
Primary Responsibilities
· Portfolio construction across asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities and alternatives
· Follow market developments to independently formulate investment strategies
· Work with the PMs to construct and manage multi-asset discretionary portfolios
· Conduct macroeconomic analysis to establish risk reward profiles of different asset classes to improve Sharpe ratios
· Peruse financial statements and quantitative metrics to build rigorous financial models, identify relative value and construct positive skews
· Monitor investment performance of individual positions on a stand-alone basis as well interactions with other securities in portfolios to manage correlations and control risk
· Compute performance attributions
· Prepare periodic investment reports to check for alignments or breaks with investment thesis
· Actively prepare and attend relevant Board and IC meetings update on relevant industry trends / reports / databases relevant to the existing and potential investments
· Conduct trade executions on client accounts and provide operational support
Requirements
· Singapore citizen or PR
· Fresh graduates and candidates with 0-2 years of work experience but fulfills the other requirements are welcome
· Robust technical skills with critical thinking abilities
· Meticulous, entrepreneurial and able to demonstrate genuine interest in capital markets
· Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a cosmopolitan mindset
· Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office, or fast learner of systems
· Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, accounting or business
· Candidates who have passed Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the CFA curriculum or equivalent professional qualifications preferred
