Key Requirements

• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a landscape and construction company background, with demonstrated expertise in managing projects and teams.
• Driving Experience: A minimum of 5 years of driving experience with a valid Singapore driving license (Class 3). In-depth knowledge of Singapore’s roads and traffic conditions is essential for site visits and managing transportation of materials.

• Strong understanding of landscape design, construction techniques, and horticulture.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of construction tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Safety: Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction and landscaping activities in Singapore, with the ability to enforce safety standards on-site.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other languages is a plus.

We are looking for candidates who have an outstanding passion for creating memorable experiences to join our front office team. As a Guest Service Executive - Front Office, you will help to ensure that all our guests truly enjoy their stay at the hotels and depart with the intention to return.

You will need to have an excellent command of the English language, outstanding organizational skills and the experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring your shift runs smoothly and our guests experience seamless service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Process guest check-ins and room assignments following the hotels' rate structures, discounts and sell/upsell strategies. Accommodate special requests when possible.

- Process check-in/check-out including luggage assistance and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.

- Answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, attractions, etc. Assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, etc.

- Pre-register, block reservations and, as appropriate, take same day and future reservations. Cancel room reservations according to policies and procedures.

- Perform night audit during midnight shift and prepare necessary reports.

- Handle any Marriott-related enquiries.

- Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations.

- On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.

- Attend department meetings as scheduled.

- Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.

- Flexibility to work in other positions/departments as the need arises.

- Willing to work in SHN environment during COVID-19.

- Comply with policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.

- Write shift reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned.

- Check with manager / supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.

- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.

- Any other duties / tasks as requested by management.
