Job Description:

· Planning and release of work orders for all parts (both components and DMM) based on the customer order/ demand forecast and triggers the subsequent needed materials for piece-parts and sub-assemblies.

· Assure each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders for both DMM and components.

· Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

· Update the status of assigned projects, expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

· Prepare production reports.

· Monitors, analyzes and report performance to schedule of production and production support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.

· Monitor and expedite the components progress of sub-assembly to meet the delivery schedule and initiate the picking/ staging for assembly.

· Expedite all the subsequent process of material once delivered from the sub-tier to meet the delivery schedule.

· Ensure all parties are fully cognizant of production status, & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated and communicated.

· Coordinates and expedites the placement of purchase orders and / or delivery of material if necessary.

· Resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge and analytical abilities.

Requirements:

· Min 5 years experience in Manufacturing/Automation/Contract Manufacturing

· Proficient in MS Office, SAP or Epicor

· Able to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Good interpersonal skills and require good organizational skills such as clear agenda setting, preparation and planning for meetings and tasks, involves input to the planning exercises and reporting against those plans.

· Able to commence work in short notice
