Estimating:

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, along with the final bid documents (tenders), for various types of vessels.
• Conduct vessel inspections when necessary and engage with Owners’ Representatives to discuss technical and commercial details.

Invoicing:

• Monitor vessels’ drydocking and repair activities in the yard.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or relevant training in a reputable shipyard or offshore industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing materials efficiently and negotiating terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Evaluating supplier offers by analyzing factors such as price, lead time, and logistical costs.
• Issuing purchase orders and monitoring estimated time of delivery (ETD).
• Managing supplier relationships, including providing feedback on material quality and resolving issues as they arise.
• Coordinating with Quality Assurance (QA) to maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Checking inventory levels to ensure they meet customer order requirements.
• Analyzing usage data and stock levels to maintain an adequate supply of raw materials for production.
