scanner, label printer, and laptop issues

• Hands-on experience and knowledge in troubleshooting user and support of MSOffice

The Shipping Trade Settlements Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely settlements for all shipping transactions. This role involves reviewing trade documentation, reconciling accounts, and resolving any discrepancies to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Duration: 9 months contract

Location: Centennial Tower, Nice Working Enviroment

Salary up to $4,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade validation in CTRM
• Reconciling of trades across systems
• Tracking of invoices, settlements, AP/AR reporting and be involved in systems testing.
• Handling physical Oil/LNG/Shipping trade settlements in a timely and accurate manner, including contract terms review, due date control and raising payment and invoices in both CTRM system and SAP
• Reviewing the trade contracts and service agreements for settlement purposes
• Price confirmation with counterparties and billing/invoicing of sales both provisional and final invoices
• Ensuring incoming & outgoing funds receipt or payment are valued on time, calculating interest for delayed receipts as per contractual terms and AR ageing follow-up
• Process secondary costs which includes additional cost such as freight, insurance, inspections, demurrage's
• Liaise with traders and operators to resolve disputes and ensure accurate and timely payments
• Carrying out with the procedure/process implemented in CTRM, SAP and other network system and assist in month-end reconciliation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in energy risk assessment & analysis
• Previous use of CTRM
• Understanding of various commodity types and their settlement procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Description Summary

Playing an active role in providing supports in sourcing, analysing, bidding, and executing Partnership projects, as well as provide financial analysis to business units in their tender exercises.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Assessing project viability and bankability, building financial models, preparing proposals and internal approval papers; execution up to transaction/financial close.
• Sourcing of opportunities with other business units and responding to EOI/SOQ, project due diligences (including review of RFP and draft project documents), financial analysis.
• Working with business units to gather inputs for the financial model and coordinating bid activities with partners.
• Detail-orientated, numerically sharp, and experienced in working in a team environment. The candidate must have skills in financial and business analysis and business strategy.
• Responsible for determining and proposing the most optimal commercial structure for the project/bid and will be involved in negotiations of transaction documents.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree discipline in Finance, Applied Finance, Accounting or related.
• 3-5 years of work experience in Investment or Finance Projectment roles
• Numerically inclined, analytical skills, ability to build financial model
• Preparing / assembling expression of interests, statement of qualification and bid proposals for Partnership projects
• Independent and proactive thinker with business experience working with teams at all levels, as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure
• Fluency in English, editorial skills to write reports, project/investment proposals in English
• Advanced proficiency in MS office, including MS Excel and Powerpoint
• Readiness to travel
