Position Summary
The Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales growth, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to manage and motivate a team to ensure the overall profitability of the retail division.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution
· Develop and execute comprehensive retail strategies to drive sales, market share, and profitability
· Align retail objectives with overall business goals and market trends
· Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and expansion possibilities
Store Operations Management
· Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
· Manage opening and closing procedures.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Sales and Profitability
· Drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
· Monitor and analyze sales performance and financial metrics.
· Develop and implement strategies to increase store revenue and profitability.
Customer Service
· Champion a customer-centric culture across all stores.
· Implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Marketing and Promotions
· Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
· Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
· Ensure consistent brand messaging across all retail locations.
Team Leadership and Development
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing retail team.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
· Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Inventory Management
· Oversee inventory control and management.
· Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate stock levels.
· Coordinate with suppliers and manage stock replenishment.
Visual Merchandising
· Ensure the store is well-presented and visually appealing.
· Implement visual merchandising standards and guidelines.
· Organize and execute promotions and displays.
Compliance and Safety
· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
· Conduct regular auditors and inspections to maintain high standards of operations.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
· Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
