Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking an accomplished Assistant IT Manager to join our pre-opening team in Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.

As part of the pre-opening team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in setting up, maintaining and enhancing the Resorts' IT systems. • Assist the Resort’s guests with any system or technical-related matters. The incumbent would need to liaise with the Front-of-House team to respond to any guest-related IT requests.
• Ensure that our systems are protected by the necessary security procedures and protocols, including the timely revision of user access right and passwords for both the PMS and PC Network systems.
• Provide regular management reports and document all system activities (e.g. Maintenance Logs, Data Change Logs)
• Ensure the accuracy and computer audit trail of daily and monthly financial reports.

Job Requirements

• Possess a degree, diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology or a related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Executive II is a key member of Care Corner's internal IT team responsible for the support of PC & peripherals, network and enterprise systems used in Care Corner Singapore and Care Corner Senior Services. This role will work closely with the end-users, internal IT team, outsourced Level 1 helpdesk support service, as well as vendors/service providers via back-to-back support arrangements.

Reporting to the Head of IT and Digitalisation, the IT Executive II has both technical and non-technical responsibilities.

• Establish and maintain backup, data recovery and restoration policies and procedures of all systems, including developing a back-up system support mechanism that can be activated in event of personnel change
• Advise the Management on existing and future systems to be developed, enhanced or implemented. In performing this role, the incumbent will also be required to develop a capital budget for all computer hardware and software purchases.
• Ensure that our systems are protected by the necessary security procedures and protocols, including the timely revision of user access right and passwords for both the PMS and PC Network systems.
• Provide regular management reports and document all system activities (e.g. Maintenance Logs, Data Change Logs)
• Ensure the accuracy and computer audit trail of daily and monthly financial reports.

Requirements

• Possess a degree, diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Information Technology or a related field
• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant IT experience, including 2 years in a people manager role
• Proven track record in a similar hotel, and /or prior experience as part of a pre-opening team for a Resort will be an advantage

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving for both IT hardware and applications. Escalate issues and involve second-tier support whenever required to resolve issues.
• Perform daily preventive checking for office IT facilities.
• Receive and log IT service requests and incidents into the ticketing system, case monitoring to ensure the supporting team closes the cases.
