[What you will be working on]
You will be part of a dynamic team in charge of managing system enhancements and upgrades for a financial collections system. Key role of the team is to ensure new business needs and enhancements are successfully developed by the system consultants in accordance to specified requirements. Your role would require you to ensure business requirements are translated to effective system solutions. You will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring there are no gaps between business requirements and the technical solutions provided by the consultants.
Your responsibilities include:
• Working with consultants/business users to review user acceptance testing scenarios to ensure completeness and robustness of testing.
• Performing user acceptance testing to ensure that the consultants’ delivery are accordance to intended business requirements.
• Providing first-level support to address any issues that may occur within the system.
• Supporting end-user training and change management activities and provide updates to management on project status.
• Writing/reviewing documentations to ensure completeness and accuracy and draft/review operation Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Supporting all post-implementation activities such as defect resolutions and operations support.
• Reviewing and validating existing business requirements with users to ensure that these are still relevant and aligned to business objectives.
• Ensuring data migration activities are monitored and executed in accordance to agreed approach and requirements.
• Supporting the team to ensure end-to-end O&M support and alignment across multiple tracks, as there are multiple business systems which had already been onboarded.
[What we are looking for]
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in a Finance/Accounting/IT environment.
• Experience in implementing IT projects relating to Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle Customer Care and Billing, SAP etc) will be an advantage.
• Effective team player who is committed and self-driven.
• Able to work independently and perform under pressure and tight timelines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and engagement skills to engage effectively with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
