Key Responsibilities:
l Provide legal advice on commercial, regulatory, and compliance issues, with a focus on fintech and cryptocurrency.
l Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
l Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across the jurisdictions we operate in.
l Manage relationships with external legal counsel and assist with cross-border legal matters.
l Support intellectual property management, including trademark filings and other regulatory requirements.
l Assist in developing internal policies and legal frameworks to ensure operational compliance.
l Handle dispute resolution and provide support in any litigation, when required.
l Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and legal trends in fintech and crypto.
Qualifications:
l Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized university.
l Admission to the Bar in Singapore or Malaysia (or equivalent legal qualification).
l 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, with fintech or crypto knowledge being a plus.
l Fluent in both Chinese and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
l Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
l Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
l Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
l Familiarity with financial services or tech regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
