It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Operations Executive specializing in transportation. The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to transportation on-site in Singapore. They will oversee activities related to freight forwarding, container haulage, forwarding agency services, and warehousing.

1. Responsible on various report submission on time including but not limited to:

• a. Daily Warehouse Activities Report
• b. Daily Import/Export Container status Report
• c. Detention monitoring Tracking Report
• d. Container Reuse Status Report

2. Plan & manage deployment of a team of Traffic Controller. Discuss on the improvement with superior if necessary

3. Plan & manage duty roster of Traffic Controller weekly or any appropriate time period

4. Arrange for duty take over when Traffic Controller is on leave. To back up if necessary

5. Resolve any safety related issue or recovery including but not limited to:

• a. Vehicle Parking issue
• b. Driver Safety Violation Issue
• c. Accident Recovery

6. Plan & manage to ensure all customers trucking activities are fulfilled

7. Monitor the performance of a team of Traffic Controller and ensure jobs under their scope are dutifully completed (IOU/trip incentive/ TBM/etc)

• a. Ensure Traffic Controller provide real-time
• update of job progress into system
• b. Ensure Traffic Controller carry out toolbox meeting

8. Plan, request and track progress of container reuse

9. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace

EHS Roles:

• Wokring with Business Leader to develop and manage company EHS management system in accordance with Corperation requirements, ISO14001 and 45001 standards.
• Plan, implement and conducts EHS committee meetings with Operation’s EHS representatives to drive EHS programs.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of EHS
• Plan, implement and conducts EHS audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Provides management team with guidance on local guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for incident notification, investigation, and case management.
• Develop risk management plans and risk controls in alignment with organisation’s risk management framework
• Reports the EHS performance to business leaders.
• Plan and implement EHS awarenss and promotion events.
• Plan and implement sustainability program.

Facility Roles:

• Manage the maintenance of the buildings facilities and building services.
• Develop maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems
• Inspect the facilities on an on-going basis to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of all facility equipment.
• Manages within the approved maintenance budget.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on operations
• Oversee management of security within the properties.

Pre-requisites

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Building/ Facilities/ Real Estate Management, Safety and Environmental Study or equivalent with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 4 years’ experience in HSE/Facility industry is preferred. (Experience in aviation industry with a strong understanding of airworthiness requirements would have advantage.)
• Conversant with Singapore regulation (WSH / NEA / SCDF Act), ISO 9001:2015 / 14001 / 45001 / AS9100 standards.
• Experience in authorities and ISO audit or equivalent.
• Applicants who are qualified Lead / Internal Auditors would have an advantage.
• Applicable who are qualified with WSHO would have advantage.
• Good team-player with strong written, verbal and PC skills (Experience in Gensuites system would have advantage)

Roles & Responsibilities

Requirement:

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

- Perform accounts payable reconciliation between supplier statements, AP aging, AP accruals and open purchase orders

- Validate and process vendor invoices on a timely basis

- Prepare accounts payable entries and recurring GL entries to ensure that they are coded to the proper cost center or GL accounts

- Prepare and perform various journal entries to maintain the account books if necessary

- Assist with month end / reporting processes, such as balance sheet reconciliations

Accounts Receivable:

- Extract invoices from ERP

- Perform revenue reconciliation and reconciling cash receipts

- Prepare bank reconciliations

General:

- Assist in internal and external audit requests and requirements.

- Support on new processes and system implementation when required.

- Perform any ad-hoc and related duties as assigned.
