Assistant Cook duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting the Cook in food preparation activities, such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling food ingredients

• Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards

• Washing, disinfecting and properly storing cooking and kitchen utensils and equipment

• Buying, weighing and storing ingredients and food supplies

• Operating a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens

• Managing inventory, unloading supplies and organising the storeroom

• Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.

• Maintains clean work areas, utensils, and equipment.

• Develop new menu items while improvising the existing ones.

• Maintain and manage kitchen expenses,food costs, inventory, and staffing with in budgetary limits.

• Able to cook north Indian food.

• Able to do shift work.

Clinic in Loyang requires a Clinic Assistant. The clinic hours are in the mornings and afternoons. There is no night clinic and and no clinic sessions onSundays or Holidays.

The person will help in the registering of patients and help in the queing and guiding the patients to the consultation room.

The person will also helps in the preparation and dispensing of medicines.

General administrative work and the keeping of patients record are also part of the duties.

The person should preferably has some experience as a clinic assistant.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide receptionist duties at front counter
• Able to apply basic patient care
• Prepare, replenish and dispense medications
• Assist doctors during consultation and clinical procedures (if called upon)
• Able to handle payments include government/insurance claiming
• Perform basic tests on patient
• Any other tasks as directed by the Clinic Supervisor or Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

• 'N' Level or 'O' Level / Nitec / Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
• At least 1 year Clinic Experience preferred
• Familiarity with medications is necessary (Training will be provided)
• Honesty and integrity in performing all tasks
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus
• Functional knowledge in Computer and MS Office is essential
• Proactive, committed and ability to work independently under tight schedule
• Comfortable with 6 days work week and rotating shift
• Possess strong technical and problem solving skills
• Good team player
