Job Brief

We are looking to hire a Country Coordinator to assist the Senior Management Team in opening, building up, and operating an overseas office. The Country Coordinator will have to establish a formal presence of MyrLabs at the overseas locale, build relationships with key corporate partners, and coordinate activities by MyrLabs’ operations teams in-country.

The overseas office will be in Bali, Indonesia. The purpose of the office is to provide local support for MyrLabs’ projects in delivering hardware and software solutions. The workload is expected to start out light and ramp up slowly over the next 1-2 years. You are expected to spend at least 50% (183 days) of your time at the overseas office. You will be supported by MyrLabs staff who will fly in from Singapore on 1- or 2-week stints. The initial workload will be light and ramp up over the next 1-2 years as the team expands and more local staff are hired. We are open to flexible part-time work, but request that you remain contactable during work hours especially when a MyrLabs team is in-country. Role and Responsibilities

1. Owner representative for a fleet of LNG carriers on long term charterer

• Administer Project Budgets with the Ship Managers

• Give Asset Management input in response to Tenders and Presentation Materials and follow up activities

5. Ensure effective communications with all stakeholders.

• Report to Manager – Asset Management, Management, Headquarters, Board of Directors (Joint Ventures), Shareholders (Joint Ventures)

6. Ensure (HQ) reports are submitted as per the agreed deadlines

• Liaise closely with Finance Team and prepare Budget documents and analysis for approvals
• Liaise closely with Finance Team to prepare and submit long term P&L projections.
• Handle ad-hoc requests // clarifications from HQ (Shareholders / Owners).

7. Support insurance manager and minimize impact to P&L

• Support insurance manager to ensure rightful claims are raised and recovered.
• Liaise with Finance team to ensure appropriate provisions are allocated to financial statements
• Update (HQ), Senior Leadership, Directors and Shareholders with manager supervision and guidance on the Insurance / claims /Settlement matters

8. Prepare and organize

• Ensure Monthly KPI scorecards are sent to Charterers / Owners.
• Review monthly OPEX reports and variance analysis submitted by Ship technical managers
• Quarterly business reports. Submit to Board of Directors and Shareholders.
• Prepare/ organize director and shareholder meeting materials.

9. Owner representative

• Assist Manager during crisis management situations.
• Deputize for Manager when on holiday or away on business trips.
• Represent company and JVs at owner, charterer and Industry events.

10. Projects

• Provide commercial/operational support to business development // project teams when required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in maritime and/ or business
• Familiarity with Tankers time charter/ shipbuilding contractual terms and associated commercial agreements
