Reporting to the Construction Managers, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating site-related works with the Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest compliance with the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to the Construction Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing work on-site 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented with previous experience working as a Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Site Supervisor on data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating with contractors in the field while installing all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. The Senior Front Office Supervisor is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk while on duty. Leading the team to ensure that the Reception operations run smoothly at all times and supporting Receptionists in their day-to-day tasks. Alfa Laval Singapore is looking for a skilled Supervisor to join our global repair team within the business unit Marine Heat & gas. The position is based in Singapore, and you will be part of a motivated team working with steel repair inspections and supervision on boiler plants, scrubbers, and inert gas generators.

Job Description

• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of boiler repair technicians, providing guidance, training, and support. Assign tasks, manage work schedules, and ensure team members are working efficiently.

• Technical Expertise: Oversee and actively participate in boiler repair and maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, and report in writing boiler issues, recommending appropriate repair solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and practices within the workshop and during project execution. Conduct safety training sessions and regular safety audits. Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents promptly.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repair projects, including work orders and reports. Prepare project progress reports for management and clients.

• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to provide updates, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

What You Know

• Proven experience in boiler repair and maintenance, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems, including troubleshooting and repair.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a workshop or repair setting.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficient in safety regulations and best practices in the boiler repair industry.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in computer applications and project management software (Microsoft 365 enviroment).

• Relevant certifications and licenses preferred.

• Develop operations plans for their teams and make sure those plans are executed
• Lead, manage and motivate the team members
• Preparation and updating of duty roster to ensure accuracy in the Info-Tech HRMS Time Management System
• Coach and train Retail Associates on GLOB+ system usage.
• Conduct daily briefings to team members before the start of shift duty

• Good leadership skills to effectively oversee and manage the team
• Supervisors may work a variety of hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Retail supervisors may also be required to attend meetings and conferences
