1. Basic Functions
a) Assist superiors in building and maintaining a strong and
efficient team.
b) Assist in creating a loyal and trustworthy staff who takes pride
in their work, providing the highest possible level of service.
c) Operate the store with positive financial results.
d) Assist in supervising and overseeing the administration of the
Store.
e) Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Store.
f) Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest
improvements to the Supperior.
g) Assign station responsibilities to service crew.
h) Check the work performance and turnout of service crew.
i) Supervise, oversee and assist service crew during busy
periods in service.
j) Demonstrate thorough knowledge on product knowledge,
menus and equipment.
2. Planning and Organization
a) Adhere to all house rules, regulations, and company policies.
b) Update the bulleting board where applicable.
c) Schedule staff annual leave and off days/public holidays.
d) Ensure proper filing and controlling of store administrative
duties.
e) Conduct pre- service training and focus selling, duties for staff (5minutes a day and write the notes on the white board)white board must be placed at a discrete corner.
3. Profitability
a) Enforce all pre-check and check control procedures.
b) Ensure the crew is archiving sales target and doing upselling.
c) Monitor the quality and quantity of all food and beverage item
prepared so as to ensure minimal wastages.
4. Working relations
a) Maintain good communication with all other departments.
b) Create a sound and strong working relationship with all staff
and help them to develop to their maximum potential.
c) Keep the superior informed on all items of interest.
d) Assist and co-ordinate with the respective department heads on any activities which overlaps with or which concerns their departments.
5. Public Relations
a) Ensure WoW Service and handle simple customer needs.
b) Ensure service quality to keep customers .
6. General
a) Regularly inspect equipment and ensure that they are well-maintained and in good working order.
b) Liaise with supplier for Job Requisition , Repair and Maintenance Orders for maintenance work.
c) Check and follow-up on any physical defects of the Outlet.
d) Check on the cleanliness of the Outlet.
e) Report guest incidents and Lost and Found items to the Manager.
f) Control bills.
g) Upsell and cross-sell other Outlets.
h) Attend and contribute to staff meeting and related activities.
7. Personnel
a) Check all employees regularly for cleanliness, appearance, and
that they take pride in their uniform and outlet team.
b) Enforce courtesy and efficiency and proud to be Cravience.
c) Directly supervise subordinates in all aspects relating to the
operations.
d) Assist the Manager in ensuring that all newly hired employees
are properly screened, and that they receive the company’s orientation program, are instructed in all F&B service procedures, and are informed of the rules and regulations.
e) Demonstrate understanding of and adherence to the company’s
Regulations outlined.
f) Provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
8. Training
a) Co-ordinate all training programs for the staff.
b) Identify all training needs.
c) Provide on-the-job and off-the-job training.
d) Evaluate training and follow-up.
9. Selling and Merchandising
a) Assist the Superrior to ensure the attractiveness of the work
counter, POS and entire Store .
b) Ensure that all employees in direct contact with guests have
good product knowledge.
10. Sanitation and Housekeeping
a) Implement and maintain high quality standards as they relate to
sanitation and cleanliness.
b) Have working knowledge of local labour laws, NEA
requirements.
c) To ensure that both the front and back of the house are well
organised and maintained.
d) To ensure that all lightings, music systems, equipments of outlets are in good working condition at all times.
11. Occasional Duties
a) Carry out occasional assignments or projects as designated by
the superiors.
