General Overview

Seeking for an experienced tax manager to support the Global Tax Head, based regionally to manage tax compliance, advisory and controversy of the Singapore Tax. He/She will be a key partner to Group’s stakeholders to provide advice on business operations and initiatives

Details:

• Full responsible for completion of Singapore corporate income tax returns, including all related preparation and analysis to ensure full compliance
• To prepare/review Singapore tax enquiries to both internal and external parties
• Work closely with Local Finance team to oversee global direct, indirect taxes, other tax filings to minimize the occurrence of tax controversies & also to complete Group’s interim and annual reporting
• Provide analysis on tax data, provide insights and improvement plans to management regarding Singapore latest tax developments, monitor tax assessments and tax payment trends
• To ensure appropriate internal controls in place for global tax compliance, participate and assist in the Group’s global/X-border tax projects

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting & /Finance, CPA Qualifications with min 10 years experience in handling SG tax compliance matters from large CPA firms with working MNC exposure from wholesales/sourcing/logistics/ industries preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge in SG tax and accounting for HFM tax reporting
• Familiarities of corporate income/VAT/GST in other jurisdictions would be a plus
• Highly analytical with high problem-solving skills, effective reporting and presentation skills
