Responsibilities
· Participate in JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development) and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion and any other method of data exchange.
· Develop, test, manage and implement SSIS Packages from development server to production server using package configuration.
· Work on maintenance and Administration of SSIS by creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and schedule DTS/SSIS Packages.
· Ability to automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs.
· Develop ETL specifications, data mapping and other documentation required for ETL development.
· Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema to perform data and business analysis.
· Understand business data and perform quality assurance testing to ensure the data presented is correct.
Skills/Requirement
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
· 5+ years of applications design and development experience with SQL Server/MS-SQL scripting and SSIS
· Analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL
· Previous team leadership experience to include analyzing, mentoring and monitoring.
· Knowledge in Unix and Control-M is an added advantage.
