RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Operations Manager (OM) is to be responsible for the strategic management of the school environment, including estate, facilities, resources (inventories/supplies) and processes, to achieve school's objectives as well as day-to-day operations. The OM also plays a key role in school safety and security, overseeing risk-management, health matters and emergency preparedness processes.

As part of the management team, the OM will also contribute towards organizational decision-making and participate in general executive and non-executive functions that the team undertakes. What you’ll do:

• Serve as the strategic operations lead for the commercial team in APAC, influencing through actions and results rather than authority.
• Operate in a player-coach capacity, balancing individual contributions with mentoring a small team, with the potential to lead and scale the team as the business grows.
• Act as a main point of contact for all APAC operational aspects within the commercial team, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
• Collaborate deeply to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Commercial and Sales Training, Sales Strategy, Product, Finance, and Legal to support the commercial organization.
• Anticipate leadership needs and autonomously drive initiatives that align with commercial priorities.
• Develop and implement localized best practices that align with global initiatives, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adopted across markets.
• Manage multiple interconnected initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and meet strategic objectives.

• Takes a customer first approach and leads any change management efforts related to process/system improvements and organizational restructuring to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new practices
• Serve as the voice of the APAC commercial teams needs in the development of global process and tooling

What you bring to the table:

• 10+ years of proven experience in a sales or client services strategy & operations function, with programmatic or advertising experience being a plus.
• 3+ years of proven experience in a player-coach role with direct team management and mentorship responsibilities.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• Strong technical and operational aptitude with the ability to manage complex projects and processes.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the payments ecosystem.
• Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to protect the company from fraud, chargebacks, and other financial risks.
• Monitor emerging risk trends and industry best practices to stay ahead of potential threats.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and data privacy laws.
• Develop and maintain robust compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and address any noncompliance issues.

Fraud Prevention:

• Develop and implement advanced fraud prevention strategies, including rule-based systems, machine learning models, and behavioural analytics.
• Investigate and analyse fraudulent transactions to identify patterns and improve prevention measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection and prevention capabilities.

Operational Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks that could impact the company's business operations, financial performance, or reputation.
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure resilience in the face of disruptions.

 Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead and manage a team of risk professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.
• Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance within the organization.

We are looking for a mobile operations assistant to help deliver and collect small parts, take on site measurements and assist with small jobs on site. Successful candidate must have minimum class 2B licence and be able to read and speak English.

We will provide a class 2B motorcycle which the successful applicant will be able to use, they will also be allowed to take the motorcycle home with them and use it for personal purposes.
