• Assist in meetings with key departments such as camera, art department, wardrobe pre, post and during filming.
• Assist in managing director's schedule and filming schedule with the producer and adhering to it.
• Work with the editor to create the offline and online cuts of the film.
• Source for required additions to the film i.e. stock footage/ music.

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Film/Production/Art/Mass Comm/Advertising/ or equivalent.
• Great passion for film and cinematography.
• Have an awareness and knowledge of camera equipment and cinematography.
• Technical production skills that will aid in completing the job scope.
• Flexibility in timings and travelling.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Great attention for detail, ability to multitask, highly organised and excellent time-management skills.
• Proficient with Mac OS, Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements:

• Ideally possess a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager or Team Leader in Front Office / Guest Relations within a hotel environment.
• Showcase exceptional communication and customer relations skills.
• Demostrate adept problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.

Team Involvement & Leadership

• Support, supervise and deputise for other team member’s duties during his/her absence.
• Assess and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of underwriting processes, balancing competing demands effectively.
• Implement strategies to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce turnaround times for underwriting tasks.
• Support the Operations Excellence Lead in capacity planning by monitoring the teams workload capacity, making adjustments to meet fluctuating demands.
• Ensure that team members adhere to deadlines for underwriting tasks, coordinating efforts to meet time-sensitive requirements.
• Provide leadership and supervision to a team of underwriting assistants, overseeing their daily activities and offering guidance, training and support.
• Train, guide and develop new underwriting assistants.
• Foster the professional development of team members through training programs, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement within the team, providing regular updates to the Operations Excellence Lead.

Technical Excellence

• Assist underwriters in evaluating and assessing risks associated with insurance applications.
• To prepare Underwriting information for both New Business and Renewals, review and input data into Underwriting systems compiling underwriting information and completing documentation as per Underwriting procedure.
• Act as the first point of contact for the processing of complex business.
• Conduct and compile market research and gather relevant information to support underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriters to determine appropriate coverage and pricing for insurance policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• To support external broking intermediaries on policy servicing matters.
• To collaborate and communicate with internal departments for credit control and claims matters.
• To assist Finance and billing with unreconciled accounts and enquiries.
• To support Underwriters to ensure underwriting files are complete and fulfil audit requirements.
• To support Underwriters in monitoring and tracking of monthly production to ensure premium booking is timely.
• To support the development and implementation of business processing tools or system enhancements by acting as the Subject Matter Expert and assist in requirements gathering and testing (UAT)
• Take on additional responsibilities and positively accept other ad hoc duties allocated.

Service Delivery & Quality Adherence

• Build good working relationships with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and Operations Teams.
• Good collaboration with offshore processing team to ensure excellent quality of policy documentation.
• To provide general assistance to underwriters and other administrative duties as assigned.
• To independently manage requests and queries from internal and external stakeholders as required.

Continuous Improvement

• To identify regular opportunities for improvement, provide support and/or be involved in Business Improvement Initiatives as required.
• To escalate issues and resolution proposal proactively when necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to underwriting.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, proven experience as an underwriting assistant or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Posess Certificate in General Insurance.
