Job Summary:
This role manages the Product Application Lab for Finishing for Electronics (FFE) applications, focusing on Connector, Lead Frame, and Printed Circuit Board products. Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the role will initially focus on Electroless Nickel and Mold Compound de-flash products, with potential expansion into electroplating products and surface treatments. The candidate will support product development, customer trials, and technical guidance across various applications in the SEA region.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of company's products, focusing on Electroless Nickel, Mold Compound de-flash products, and other surface treatments for the electronics industry.
- Stay updated on industry developments and competitor products to ensure company's market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to prioritize customer and application targets.
- Recommend the best products based on product experience and lab trials, optimizing performance to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct lab trials, product testing, and performance measurements, either on-site or remotely with other regions.
- Assist in developing specifications and facility recommendations for local manufacturing of company's products, either at company's site or third-party facilities.
- Hire and supervise technician/s to maintain the lab and assist with customer trials.
- Support local manufacturing of company's products, develop specifications, and ensure quality targets and operating procedures.
- Foster external collaborations to strengthen Technic's offerings and market visibility.
Requirements:
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in metal finishes for the Electronics Industry.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
- The role requires flexibility and the ability to drive results in a fast-evolving industry.
