Client Management Services operates within Operations & Technology and is a centralised, global function, which supports the business by delivering and operating its client lifecycle services. CMS has an operational presence across 4 locations, including Singapore. CMS includes functions such as Know Your Client Onboarding, Client Maintenance, Client Offboarding, Client Regulatory, Client Integration Assessment and Client Services.

About Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Team

The EDD team operates within the CMS framework and is primarily responsible for performing due diligence beyond what is performed by the KYC Team for customers with high-risk indicia. From a risk framework perspective, the EDD Team is situated within the first line of defence and works closely with Financial Crime to ensure the proper governance of high-risk customers at onboarding and refresh. The process operates within strict adherence to the client’s organisation defined Financial Crime – Anti Money Laundering polices.

Overall Purpose of the role

The role holder will primarily undertake the responsibilities of analysing and advising the business on the risk presented by high-risk customers. The responsibilities also will include report writing and detailed memos documentation of the thought process in identifying financial crime risk.

Responsibilities:

Key accountabilities

• Comprehensive EDD report writing skills covering the key risks identified for the client and the extent to which these risks can be mitigated, or actions that need to be carried out to protect the bank.
• Providing advice on the client’s risk profile (e.g., PEP entity assessment, and the rationale) and whether any gaps or material concerns were found.
• Advise on the individuals associated with the corporate entity, i.e., PEP.
• Research and analysis of complex financial crime AML news.
• Execution of additional screenings as may be required during EDD work.
• Knowledge of corporate governance structures and be able to advise on the risks and the evidence obtained.
• Understanding and verifying the Source of Wealth, in depth Nature of Business analysis and the Source of Funds.

Stakeholder Management

The role holder should maintain effective relationships and deal openly with all key stakeholders, in line with the client’s organisation Purpose, Values and Mindset, taking into account the needs of all stakeholders and taking decisions which, in the long term, are positive for clients, shareholders, colleagues and the communities in which the client organisation operates.

Risk and Control Objective

• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Organisation’s Policies and Policy Standards.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Banking/Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or related equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial services
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Know Your Customer, Due Diligence, or Enhanced Due Diligence.
• Experience in and have strong understanding of AML, Sanctions, governance and regulatory control frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of the risk association (PEP, MSB, etc.) and AML red flags.
• Awareness of the current market issues and industry developments, particularly within the AML Regulatory environment
• Understanding of Investment Banks and the products it offers.
• Business fluency in Chinese to read and understand documents in Chinese would be an advantage, as there would be documents and communication received in Chinese for this role
• Certificates in ACAMS of ICA AML qualification would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

Activation Management

• Respond within four (4) hours notice to a disaster area to act as Community Outreach Manager, managing relief operations on the ground, or in rare cases, remotely.
• Lead and manage field teams specializing in community outreach and engagement. Ensure strategic and streamlined implementation of relief activities on the ground, operationalizing WCK’s North Star values.
• Design and implement response strategies in the field that are adaptable and robust enough to function in high-stress, dynamic environments affected by natural disasters or conflicts.
• Recruit, onboard, train and manage community outreach teams, including local hires and Corps members in the field. 
• Consult on the scope of the response, and manage or implement community outreach operations.
• Provide regular updates on community outreach operations to the Response Director to ensure ongoing, transparent information sharing across the organization. 
• Collaborate with all WCK departments on the ground, or remotely to support the needs of the activation.

Community Outreach

• Rapidly scout community needs in a disaster area to design the scope of the response, and ensure that food reaches beneficiaries as quickly and effectively as possible. 
• Foster a collaborative environment with local populations; establish and nurture relationships with community members throughout the activation.  
• Gather feedback from beneficiaries to understand evolving needs and changes on the ground. Utilize findings to recommend the scope of WCK support, including potential scale up or wind down strategies. 
• Build and maintain relationships with community members to understand overall food needs, feedback on WCK performance, and other concurrent mass-feeding activities.

Budgeting and Logistics

• Work with the finance team and Response Director to share cost projections for community outreach operations, focusing on meal production and logistical needs.
• Collaborate with the procurement and logistics team to source materials and supplies efficiently and ensure timely delivery to affected areas.

Personnel Management and Training

• Recruit, train, and motivate diverse community outreach teams on activation, ensuring a high-performance culture aligned with WCK’s North Star. 
• Provide leadership, mentorship, training and support to team members, promoting a culture of urgency, accountability, adaptability and continuous learning within the team.
• Address personnel issues on activations in real time, and provide regular performance feedback on Corps members. 
• Support the recruitment of Corps members, and manage personnel effectively on the ground to foster growth and ensure a diverse pipeline of activation leadership.
• Identify professional development needs and gaps in team capabilities to arrange for appropriate training, and provide this feedback to relevant stakeholders for implementation.  

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with local communities first. 
• Ensure the teams conduct outreach and engagement activities that contribute to WCK’s reputation as an effective, compassionate, and reliable relief organization.
• Represent WCK in the field, acting as an ambassador to beneficiaries, partners, and the media, as required.

• Ability to spend up to 70% of the time in the field. The typical duration of an activation is four (4) weeks, though timelines could be longer. 
• Must live within one (1) hour of an international airport or be willing to relocate. 
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote and potentially hazardous locations within four hours notice.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent preferred, or 5+ years of experience in management roles, preferably in fast paced, ever changing environments; including military, emergency response, culinary, humanitarian or event management settings. 
• Experience leading, training and coaching large teams in challenging and rapidly changing environments. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal infrastructure and resources.
• Willingness to work in challenging environments with austere living conditions. For example, responders may not have  access to running water, communications, or electricity and they may have to sleep outdoors and use bucket toilets.
• Ability to work well with others and take directions to protect yourself and the team.

About this role

Campaigns Manager (Full-time)

ZWSG is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our campaigns arm to conceptualise, plan and execute impactful campaigns as part of Zero Waste SG’s strategic direction to move our nation closer to circularity and zero waste. Our campaigns see us partnering government agencies, the media, companies, and other groups on nation-wide campaigns and other fund-raising activities.

In addition, you may be asked to take on other tasks that are required in a charity, as part of ZWSG’s advocacy role.

Roles and responsibilities

Campaigns/Projects Management

• Conceptualise, plan and implement Zero Waste SG campaigns/ programmes/ projects e.g.

- Public education campaigns

Job Purpose

The Assistant Station Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the train station, which includes preparing the station for rail service, conducting security patrols at station premises and on train platforms, providing customer service, and performing duties in the Passenger Service Centre.
