General Overview

The position is part of the site Instrument, control and electrical (ICE) team that provides maintenance and technical support to the Operations and Project teams in the LNG Terminal. As a Senior Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead, supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers, Technicians and sub-contractors leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control projects on schedule, within budgeted cost and quality and safety standards. You will also work closely with the consultant/owner to ensure the project is delivered according to requirements. As a senior, you are also required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.

You should possess a Diploma/Higher Nitec in Electrical and/or Electronics in any Engineering related courses, with 3-5 years’ experience in site supervision and coordination with owner, main contractors, and subcontractors, must have experience in alarm, card access and CCTV system installation knowledge. Must be computer literate and knowledge of Risk Management.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Lead and manage the QA/QC site team covering the full spectrum of Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for assigned projects.

2. Establish and manage the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control System as per established project quality plans. Review of the weekly Weld Defect Rate summary receives from Project on both Structure and Piping and ensure it is within the Stipulated KPI for the project.

3. Prepares and submit Project Specific QA/QC Documents in line with the Project requirement for new project.

4. Implement and monitor continuous improvement activities to ensure that Quality Assurance of the projects meet established targets and standards.

5. Drive implementation, supervision and execution of the project daily inspection, testing activities and documentation preparation.

6. Able to write relevant MSRA for the work related to quality to meet client requirements.

7. Review and approval of Quality Procedures for the project issued by Client and Suppliers.

8. Carry out review all non-conformance reports, defects reports; and organize and manage the corrective and preventive actions required to rectify the non-conformances with other departments.

9. Liaise with Clients and Sub-contractor on all QA/QC related activities, meetings and relevant issues.

10. Review inspection test plan (ITP)11. Review and maintain the WPS & PQR and Welders Qualification Test; and witness Qualification Test. Prepare, issue and control all welding procedures, welder qualification for each project in accordance with Project Specification and as well applicable International Codes/ Standards.

12. Review inspection and testing reports in particular for Mill Certificates, Tank Construction and Piping Test Package Preparation.

13. Review and approve the FAT Inspection report receives form 3rd Party Inspector, and circulate the report to relevant discipline leads.

14. Liaise with Client and Classification Body (AME , ABS, DNV, BV, API, etc) for Document approval, Inspection and obtain final release certificate upon completion.Supervises preparation of Final Dossiers for all projects.

15. CSWIP and NDT certified

• Lead and manage the mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and engineering activities.
• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of M&E systems for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration and coordination of M&E systems with overall project design.
• Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the design and construction of M&E systems.
• Manage and monitor project progress, budget, and quality of deliverables.
• Must be able to review and do design calculations for approval.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Resident Engineer which at least 3 years shall be in the supervision of works similar in nature to the works in the civil constractors also have minimum 3 years of experience in M&E works.

Technically sound with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE/JEE, Oracle, SQL/ PLSQL.

Basic understanding of Solaris and/or Linux OS such as RHEL would be required.

Having Unix shell scripting, RedHat Ansible knowledge, experience in AWS applications (CloudWatch, S3, RDS, EKS), IBM Connect Direct, IBM MQ, API Gateway, Apache Ignite, Solace PubSub+, ELK, micro services & containers, cloud-based architecture and/or DevSecOps technologies is a plus.

Experience in Spring 4.x / 5.x / 6.x and Struts 2.x frameworks, SpringBoot and/or SpringBatch would be added advantage.

Domain knowledge of Financial Clearing and Payment Systems and ISO20022 standard is a plus.

• Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
• Able to prepare the Monthly Report, ITP, Material Approval, Quality Test Records, Request for Inspections and other documents concerning quality control.
• Able to assist the Project Manager during internal audit, external Quality Audit and audit to subcontractors.
• Knowledgeable in different quality controls on ground improvement works, ERSS, road works, concreting, and other civil works.
  Able to liaise with client when required to carry out inspection and obtain approval as per ITP for relevant activity.
• Able to handle quality issues that may arise in different trades and able to provide solutions acceptable to the client.
• Support Quality lead in managing daily QA/QC activity to ensure quality of products shipped out
• Support process validation qualification activity and production part approval process documentation.
  

CCTV SYSTEM

• Involve in the project and maintenance services related with CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, PA Systems, Alarm Systems and Server & Network Infrastructure and whenever required.
• Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup.
• Troubleshoot Problem encountered on site.
• Develop implementation plan, migration plan, and acceptance test plan for the project.
• Work closely with Project/Maintenance Managers in Planning the implementation tasks.

ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

• Installation: Install and configure access control systems, including electronic locks, card readers, biometric scanners, and control panels.
• Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on access control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with access control hardware and software, including system malfunctions, wiring issues, and connectivity problems.
• Software Management: Install, update, and manage access control software, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and compliant with security protocols.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and management of access control systems.

NETWORK

• Perform Installation and troubleshooting on network devices like Cisco, Aruba and Allied Telesis.
• Knowledge of Routers/Switches architecture and software upgrade procedure
• Support Network infrastructure Projects.
• Provide support to resolve network incidents and issues.
