JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process purchase orders and requisition
• Co-ordinate purchases of all raw materials and equipment
• Source and evaluate suppliers' performance
• Negotiate contracts, keeping within budgetary requirements
• Formulate purchasing procedures, policies and documentation system
• Perform data entry for purchases and other administrative duties
• Liaise closely with Production Planning and Store to achieve stock availability at all times
• Any other tasks assigned by superior time to time

WORKING HOURS:

• 5 days work week, Day shifts.
• 8am – 5.30pm (Mon – Fri)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and production requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and favorable terms.
• Manage relationships with vendors, fostering partnerships and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material needs, ensuring adequate inventory levels for uninterrupted production.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Oversee the purchasing process, including purchase orders, approvals, and supplier performance evaluations.
• Monitor and manage budgets, expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives within the purchasing department.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies in all purchasing activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Min 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing roles within semiconductor manufacturing or related industry.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, materials, and components.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in procurement software and SAP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams in both bilingual.
• Ability to handle market competition and pressure, maintaining a positive attitude in high-intensity work environments.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, industry and suppliers with strong supplier sourcing and knowledge.
• Strong analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently to resolve critical issues.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task/work under pressure in a high energy and fast paced-environment with critical and tight schedules.
• Comfortable working in Changi North Crescent.
