• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Control Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), or related fields.
• Experience in the steel structure industry or similar manufacturing sectors is preferred.

Job Description:

• Develop and optimize automation solutions based on production requirements, and coordinate with teams to deploy automated inventory management systems.
• Design and improve automated steel structure production processes, integrating industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla) with processing equipment to achieve automated cutting, assembly, and welding.
• Maintain existing production lines and propose improvements to minimize manual intervention and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems with existing production management systems, and provide training and guidance on new equipment and systems.
• Generating reports outlining new automation ideas, machine and software upkeep best practices, test results.

Key Skill & Competency Requirements:

• Proficiency in sensor principles and applications, with the ability to design and optimize sensor-based monitoring and control systems.
• Proficiency in embedded systems design, including embedded hardware development, microcontroller programming (e.g., ARM, STM32), and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiar with C# programming.
• Familiar with mainstream automation development tools and software, such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Siemens TIA Portal, and AVEVA System Platform.
• Understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLC programming, servo control, and industrial robotics.
• Understanding of smart manufacturing technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, MES systems, IoT devices) and their applications in steel structure manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITY
· Plan and allocate tools, material and manpower for fabrication;
· Ensure that all the technical reviews by engineering team comply with project requirements;
· Coordinate all technical queries with related parties – engineering team, client, vendor etc;
· Assist Project Manager in streamlining work processes;
· Coordinator with team to review all subcontract and supplier shop drawing, product data, samples,
manuals etc for all compliance with contract documents;
· Manage vendor documents for all equipment;
· Monitor and ensure all the vendor equipment delivery are on time, including checks on inspection status and requirement;
· Prepare tender submission, cost estimation and project change request;

*Prepare monthly P&L reporting.

*Able to use AutoCAD – Advance Steel Software.
· Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent

· Proficient in design software such as PV AutoCAD

· Proficiency in English language (spoken and written) with strong communication skills
