Responsible for turn-key implementation of On-board Marine projects including Planning, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Navigation and Communications systems such as: Radar systems, GMDSS stations, Gyro compass, Autopilots, BNWAS, Satellite TV systems, CCTV systems, Echo sounders, Speed logs, AIS, SSAS, Inmarsat terminals, ECDIS, SVDR, etc.

Strong service field orientation with a proven, demonstrable track record of having completed on-board installations, repairs and servicing of Radar`s, Gyro`s, Echo sounders, Speed logs, GMDSS equipment, Inmarsat terminals, Satellite TV systems, BNWAS, ECDIS, SVDR`s, AIS, LRIT, VTMS, VSAT, etc.

Pleasing personality, good interpersonal and communication skills.

An ability and willingness to adapt to on-shore installations and project execution (and pre-sales related activities, as required).

Ability to work independently or as a part of a team.

Ability to execute maintenance contract.

Ability to execute projects in time bound manner, within the allocated budget and resources.

To collaborate with peers in other disciplines in feasibility study and design, and ensure delivery of quality service for clients.

The Senior Civil Engineer shall supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Job Summary:

The Senior Civil Engineer assists the Construction Manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of current upcoming Civil projects.

The Senior Civil Engineer shall supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.

· Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.

· Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.

· Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.

· Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.

· Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.

· Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.

Requirement

· Minimum a Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

· Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

· Minimum 1 years of experiences in the construction industry.

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision under a tight schedule.

· Meticulous and good communication.
