Responsibilities

• Work in a team setting on valuations and transaction advisory assignments and ensuring its completion within a stipulated timeline which includes:
  - Valuation assignments for purposes of mergers and acquisitions
  - Valuation of intangible assets/ intellectual properties
  - Valuation assignments for financial reporting
  - Due diligence assignments
  - Other assignments on other assignments as and when required
• Support and manage project administrative activities (risk management, drafting of engagement letters, billing etc.)
• Support and participate in proposal, marketing, research and business development activities, which includes developing and maintaining strong relationships with client contacts
• Manage and liaise with colleagues from different lines of service within PwC Myanmar, PwC Singapore and our PwC global network of firms
• Coach, guide and motivate junior team members by engaging effectively and providing feedback through regular communication and timely appraisal

Successful candidates can expect to:

• be actively involved in valuation and other transaction advisory assignments in Myanmar and Singapore
• gain technical skills and exposure in a wide range of valuation and other transaction advisory assignments
• receive requisite training and coaching from the Myanmar team and the Singapore team

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in any discipline and/or relevant Post Graduate/Professional Qualification in Accounting, Economics and Finance
• ACCA, CA or CFA qualification is an added advantage
• Demonstrate strong accounting for finance knowledge with a keen interest in valuations
• Possess 1 to 3 years of working experience in a client-facing role. Relevant experience in M&A and valuations is an added advantage
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
• Strong business acumen with keen interest in businesses and how policies, trends, practices, information affects businesses and organizations
• Self-starters, meticulous and highly motivated to work on tight deadlines and work hours if necessary
• Good team player and able to work individually or in a team-setting under tight deadlines

A career within Digital Risk Solutions (DRS), will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for developing innovative digital solutions to address risks and issues that the clients of PwC are facing. Whether supporting deal origination or project delivery, you will focus on enhancing our risk services related to business strategy, process engineering, technology solutioning, people and change management.

As a member of PwC, you will work with a team of problem solvers and Subject Matter Experts, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to de-risk execution. At the Senior Associate level, you will bring forth skills and experience to assume the following responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Act as a trusted advisor to Project Members and Key Stakeholders in relation to programs of work and transformation activities
• Help our clients gain confidence that key transformation projects and programs are aligned to their strategic outcomes, are on track with delivering the required quality of output
• Be part of a high performing team that provides services including (but not limited to):
  Support the origination opportunities for new digital programmes
  Support the delivery of review, assessment and design of digital transformation programmes
  Work closely with senior members of PwC team to conduct deep dives and health checks across transformation lifecycle
  Support the delivery of project deliverables and proposal materials with minimal supervision
  Ensure a high quality of standard is maintained across all deliverables and proposal materials
• In a highly structured and presentable manner, identify and effectively report any issues and recommendations for improvement to clients, including drafting of formal reports covering these areas
• Stay abreast the local and national business and economic issues to make sound recommendations for clients’ pain points
• Able to build trusted relationships. Collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders. Work effectively in different teams for varying periods of time building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levels.
• Seek opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the Network of PwC firms
• Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner for own and others development improvements

About You:

• A University degree with at least 1 year of relevant digital transformation experience in a professional service or Big 4 environment
• Business consultancy and advisory experience across Risks and Governance, Process Mapping and Analysis, Target Operating Model and Strategy will be advantageous
• A passion for technology and demonstrates strong analytical, stakeholder management and project management skills
• Demonstrates keenness and abilities (if any) in utilizing automation and digitization tools.
• Comfortable working with large, complex data sets to build models and leveraging data visualization tools to provide insights to stakeholders
• Ideally, experience and qualifications in some of the following areas would be advantageous:
• Experience in Solution Architecture (i.e. Cloud, Application Development and Integration)
• Project Management qualification (i.e. MSP, Prince2, MAPM, MoR, Agile, Scrum)
• Change Management qualification (i.e. Prosci, AIM)
• Architectural qualification / certification (i.e. TOGAF, Zachman)
• IT Service Management certification (i.e. ITIL, COBIT)
• Functional expertise in Enterprise Apps (i.e. CRM, Billing, SCM, or ERP systems)
• Cyber security expertise across critical infrastructure, applications, network, cloud and the IoT is an advantage
