Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . • Administering the site-specific Project QEHS Management System, identifying required changes or updates to this system, if any, to the QEHS and Project Manager; Coordinating with and providing directions to the WSH Coordinator, Safety Supervisor, Lifting Supervisor, Scaffold Supervisor, and Formwork Safety Supervisor, and other EHS personnel on the day-to-day EHS activities of the worksite.
• Leading the investigation of incidents/accidents on-site and conducting root cause analysis with recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
• Enforcing EHS requirements on-site by proposing the imposition of EHS administrative charges to the Project Manager/Corporate EHS department on workers and subcontractors who commit EHS violations.
• Ensuring all parties comply with the implementation of the Permit-to-work systems and issuing the PTW Reference Number to facilitate work coordination purposes among stakeholders.
• Being accountable to the Project Manager for the implementation of the site Environmental, Health, and Safety management system.

Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
• Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Safety Officer or related experiences
